Up & Down: Elevators and Escalators,

Elevators and escalators - Mister Rogers shows some toy machines, and rides on real ones that lift people and cars. There's even a hydraulic platform delivered by Mr. McFeely in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Up & Down: Dominoes!,

A domino display artist sets up thousands of dominoes. When one is knocked over, they all go down in a fascinating pattern. Lady Elaine's elevator in Make-Believe takes Robert Troll up in the air as if he's flying.

Up & Down: Many Things Go Up & Down,

Flags, marbles, a slide – so many things go up and down. Mister Rogers learns some up and down exercises from Neighbor Marilyn Barnett and Kara, a young ballerina.

Up & Down: Visit with a Clarinetist,

A visit with world famous clarinetist, Richard Stoltzman, who makes music playing notes that go up and down. In Make-Believe, there's hope that an elevator operator will solve the up and down problem at Lady Elaine's Museum-Go-Round.

Up & Down: Hot-Air Balloon Ride,

Balloon artist, Bruce Franco, blows up balloons into animal shapes. It takes a lot of practice to be able to make fancy things like that from balloons. Then, Mr. McFeely and Mayor Maggie go up in the air for a hot-air balloon ride.

How Stuffed Bears Are Made,

Mister Rogers shows a film of how people make stuffed bears. Mr. McFeely encounters someone dressed in a bear costume. Daniel recognizes that the bear is a person in costume and realizes that person is Lady Aberlin.

Vist to the Aviary,

Visiting the Neighborhood aviary, Mister Rogers sees a variety of birds. King Friday scolds his birds as they fail to meet his exercise expectations. Mayor Maggie invites the birds to join her as she goes to the new "Museum of Love."

Mister Rogers Talks About Love,

Mister Rogers takes out a wooden block and talks about when he was young and would use a block to pretend he was shaving. At Negri's Music Shop, mandolinist Peter Ostroushko sings a Ukrainian lullaby.

Love: Even Through Angry Times,

Mister Rogers blows some bubbles and calls a plumber because the water in his house isn't working.

A Toy Trolley on the Tracks!,

Prince Tuesday is concerned when he sees a small toy Trolley on the tracks. Robert Troll picks it up and tells the prince that the real Trolley is playing at Daniel's clock. Daniel shares that the Trolley can do some "magical things."

Shadow Puppet Maker Jim West,

Jim West, a shadow artist, creates silhouettes of various animals. King Friday asks Robert Troll to help him by return some shadows that were left behind at the castle by various Neighbors.

Mime Artist Motoko,

Mister Rogers arrives with a painting of the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Mime artist Motoko demonstrates her talents by miming various activities. Trolley shows baby pictures of Prince Tuesday, King Friday and Lady Aberlin.

Mister Rogers' Snow Globe,

Mister Rogers says that everything in the world is unique: "Whenever you see somebody, even somebody in a mirror, you know that that's the only one there is."

All About Then and Now,

World-famous violinist Itzhak Perlman joins Mister Rogers in a rehearsal room and shares some of his music, as well as some of his feelings about dealing with polio.
