Mister Rogers goes to Brockett's Bakery to decorate gingerbread men. After hearing the sound effect from the laughing box, Lady Aberlin sees how long neighbors take to laugh. Eric Kloss makes different sounds using a wind synthesizer.

Playing with Cardboard Tubes,

Mister Rogers plays with different-sized cardboard tubes. Lady Aberlin is observing how neighbors react to the laughter box. Dr. Maggie Kimmel tells the story of “Button Broth.”

How Toothbrushes Are Made,

Mister Rogers shows a video of how people make toothbrushes. Lady Aberlin observes the neighbors' reactions after she can turn herself into a tiger. Princess Zelda arrives in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Learning to Take Care of Yourself,

Mister Rogers brushes his teeth in his bathroom talks about how important it is to take care of our teeth, and even visits a dentist's office!

How Earthmovers Dig Holes,

Mister Rogers shows a film of an earthmover digging a hole. Mr. McFeely shows a toothpaste video. Lady Aberlin wears a tiger suit, so she can be related to Daniel. Daniel declares that they are related by their hearts.

Mister Rogers Has a Model Car,

At the request of a television neighbor, Mister Rogers arrives with a model car and uses wooden blocks to build a roadway for it to travel. Prince Tuesday does not understand why he is not big like Neighbor Aber and King Friday.

Visit to a Conservatory for Plants,

Mister Rogers plants a seed and visits a conservatory. King Friday orders Handyman Negri to sing a song about not being afraid. This makes the neighbors even more anxious about the “big thing” that is to arrive in the neighborhood.

A Cat Named Jimmy,

Mister Rogers brings in a cat named Jimmy and remembers him as a kitten. He shows pictures of babies that have grown into adults. Everyone gathers at the castle just as the big thing rolls into the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

Growing a Plant from a Seed,

Mister Rogers says that the bean plant he planted a few days ago has grown. Robert Troll is the only one who can communicate with the “big thing.” He learns that it wants a blanket; the blanket causes it to sprout a stem and leaves.

Mister Rogers explains why he changes into a sweater and sneakers, and shows how people make sweaters and sneakers. Miss Paulificate brings Prince Tuesday's ragdoll to life by dancing with him. The neighbors decide their roles in a play.

Dress-Up: How People Make Sneakers,

Mister Rogers plays dress-up with wigs and glasses, and says: “You can get dressed up in the fanciest of things, but the best style comes from inside, and it often spreads on your face with a smile.”

The Boys Choir of Harlem,

King Friday suggests that the Neighborhood of Make-Believe be turned upside down to see if the missing crown might fall out. Trolley finds the spare crown! Mister Rogers visits the Boys Choir of Harlem.

A Play About a Princess,

Maggie Stewart is dressed as Mr. McFeely and delivers a film about how people make sweaters. The children put on a play about a princess, a raccoon and a giant king. Prince Tuesday admits he had something to do with the missing crown.
