Determined, aspiring investigator Maxine Carlson hopes to join a top crisis and hostage negotiation team run by Eric Beaumont. But she hides a secret that could jeopardize a Denver case as the team races to find a missing child.

Eric and the team must save the life and sporting dreams of up-and-coming baseball player in Louisville, Kentucky, whose survival hinges on Eric negotiating for a bone marrow match that is being ransomed for $5 million.

A special client asks the team to help with a bank heist in New York, but the case takes a surprising turn when they discover the robbers have not planned an escape and a disturbing conspiracy emerges.

An engineer working for a company that manufactures collision avoidance software for cars is kidnapped.

The Enemy Within,

Eric is brought in by his old boss from the FBI to negotiate with an extremist from a racist group threatening to set off bombs all over New York.

Eric and the team are called in by anxious parents when their heavily pregnant surrogate, Celina, goes missing in Nice, France.

Maxine has her first negotiation when Eric and other guests at a retreat are taken hostage by the leader of a fanatical militia group.

Say What You Did,

The daughter of a high ranking government official, and member of a persecuted minority in his home country. Is kidnapped and ransomed, but not for money, rather something much more personal. Eric and the team are tasked with getting her back, but they need to work out who is really in the wrong here. Erics daughter goes awry.

Girl on a Train,

A couple in France turn to Eric and his team to rescue their daughter who was abducted from a train and may have been sold into human trafficking.

The team is hired by regular client Nathalie to find stolen paintings that seem to be tied to an insurance scam in Toronto, only to find out a darker plan is in the works for a vulnerable art restorer.

Five teenagers are lured to a French castle while playing a smartphone game. The Ransom team must negotiate their release.

A burglar takes a family hostage after they catch him breaking into their safe, and Eric must negotiate their release. Suspicions about the exact circumstances of the kidnapping arise when it is learned that the father had been kidnapped before.

The team must work with an ominous adversary from Eric’s past, Damien Delaine, to confront a global threat to the NSA in Everhill, Virginia, (USA). Eric questions Damien’s true agenda and suspects it has something to do with Maxine.
