Fiona Bruce and the Roadshow team roll out their 40th-anniversary tour as they scour the country in search of hidden treasures. The magnificent Castle Howard in Yorkshire is their first stop as visitors bring in family heirlooms.

Minehead Railway Station 1,

On one of the wettest days in Roadshow history, over 2,000 visitors queue to see Fiona Bruce and the experts sheltering under the canopy at Minehead station, which is run by West Somerset Railway.

Fiona Bruce and the team head to the magnificent setting of Nymans garden near Crawley for a busy day. Objects exciting the experts include an axe which was reputedly used by Mallory for his 1922 Everest expedition.

Fiona Bruce and the experts visit the National Trust's beautiful Nymans garden near Crawley, where they are kept busy as they comb through over 4,000 visitors' family heirlooms in search of treasure.

Senate House 2,

Fiona Bruce and the experts visit the University of London's art deco jewel of Senate House in Bloomsbury. The first guest is a man who wants to know whether his airfare has been worthwhile as he presents a carved whalebone scrimshaw.

As part of its 40th anniversary series, Antiques Roadshow arrives on the set of EastEnders for a special episode celebrating the history of film, music, theatre and television.

Black Country Living Museum,

At the Black Country Living Museum, one of the finds is a Faberge treasure given one of the highest valuations ever seen on the show.

At Castle Howard in North Yorkshire, the range of objects brought for the experts to peruse is eclectic, from a terracotta figurine to a jade Buddha.

Osborne House 1,

Fiona Bruce and the team are at Osborne, Queen Victoria's seaside home on the Isle of Wight. Finds include a locket with a secret and a Faberge treasure.

Floors Castle 2,

Fiona Bruce and the team return to Floors Castle in Scotland. Finds include Robert Burns memorabilia, a diamond pendant and a jade figurine.

Cardiff Castle 1,

Fiona Bruce and the team visit Cardiff Castle. Treasures range from a simple pottery jug given as a love token to an early Hockney print found in a junk shop.

Minehead Railway Station 2,

Fiona Bruce and the team visit Minehead Railway Station, where items include a 19th-century washing machine and an exquisite miniature of Napoleon.

Cardiff Castle 2,

At Cardiff Castle, Fiona Bruce is on the hunt for a rare 1933 pennyworth a small fortune while one expert finds a piece he has been waiting 40 years to see.

Stormont Parliament Buildings and Estate 1,

Fiona Bruce and the team are in Belfast, outside the Parliament Buildings. Treasures include diving gear associated with the Titanic.

Fiona Bruce and the team visit Trelissick House in Cornwall. Items of interest include an escape pod from a Vulcan bomber and a miniature sewing kit.

Helmingham Hall 3,

Fiona Bruce and the team return to Helmingham Hall in Suffolk. Treasures include a dazzling sapphire ring and a Girl Guide sketch by Robert Baden-Powell.

Abbey Pumping Station 1,

The team is in Leicester at the historic Abbey Pumping Station.

Fiona and the team are in Belfast at the Parliament Buildings on the Stormont Estate. Treasures turning up include a unique George Best collection and Titanic memorabilia.

Abbey Pumping Station 2,

The team returns to Leicester's Abbey Pumping Station, where treasures include a 1960s sculpture and a set of exotic boxes with an intriguing use.

Newcastle Civic Centre 2,

Fiona and the team are at Newcastle's Civic Centre - a towering modernist building packed with technical innovations well ahead of their time.

Osborne House 2,

As part of its 40th anniversary series, Antiques Roadshow returns for a second helping of finds from the Isle of Wight. The picturesque location is Osborne House.
