After heading out to a mountain cabin, Jesse goes missing, only to turn up five days later in Utah, claiming to have been abducted by aliens.

Novelist Kay Ludlow is dealing with writer's block while her literary agent Jim Rothman pressures her to turn out 350 pages by the following day to secure his two million dollar share.

Rear Windows '98,

Amanda cruises into cyberspace during a spell of boredom and randomly enters the website "Welcome to Joanne's living room" for mindless entertainment.

The Last Resort,

Steve joins his troubled partner, Reggie Ackroyd, in a rehab facility for stressed-out cops. Reggie seems delusional and keeps blaming a murderer he caught for abducting his wife and daughter, and Steve encourages him.

It's a busy day for the homicide unit and Community General when three murders take place. Further investigation reveals that none of the suspects knew their victims, and they are all terminal patients at Community General.

Dead In The Water,

Jesse and Susan are on their way to Mount Carmel for a romantic getaway weekend but detour to a fishing town when their car breaks down. They grab a bite at the local diner when Susan sees a man she used to know.

Trapped In Paradise,

When resident Paul Brewer is killed, it's the second murder in a month at the exclusive gated community, Hillview Estates. With no leads on the killer, Steve goes undercover as Dr. Steve Brewer, a community resident.

Personal grievances get in the way of detective Harry Trumble's retirement party. Trumble never forgave Dr. Sloan for marrying his college sweetheart and dedicated his life to his work.

Murder, My Suite,

Dr. Sloan treats Amanda and Jesse to lunch to acknowledge Amanda's medical examiner investigation award. Unfortunately, their festivities are interrupted when a young man collapses in the hotel restaurant wearing only a bathrobe.

Murder On The Hour,

A serial killer is on the loose at Community General, targeting both patients and doctors. Dr. Sloan, Steve, Amanda, and Jesse notice that a murder takes place every hour on the hour.

Jesse witnesses a car accident and rushes to help the beautiful victim, Chloe Marsden, who has stopped breathing. After a quick application of CPR, Chloe is revived and finds Jesse accompanying her to the hospital.

Down Among The Dead Men,

To Steve, Jesse, and Amanda's embarrassment, Dr. Sloan rehearses with a swing band at BBQ Bob's as he prepares for a benefit dance for the children's unit at the hospital. But the mood quickly transforms into a tone of horror.

Steve meets up with his young protégé, Tommy Allen, but is ready to strangle him when he finds out that Tommy was involved in another brawl, this time at BBQ Bob's!

A ratings war sparks a wave of deaths across the big TV networks - a magician impales himself on a bed of spikes, and Dr Danger also turns up dead.

With the latest murder on TV taking place at Community General, Dr. Sloan, Steve, Jesse, and Amanda prepare to solve this case and protect their integrity.

Steve assigns Amy Devlin and Taylor Lucas, two police officers from the Vice Squad, to assist in solving the homicide of local pimp Milton Wilder. However, Taylor convinces her partner to take a temporary detour on their way to the investigation.
