Speed enters the Sword Mountain Race behind his father's back. However, Ace and his gang attack the Mach 5, aiming to steal the blueprints of Pops Racer's new engine.

An important document is stolen from the National Science Research Center. Speed becomes a suspect as the culprit was seen driving away in the Mach 5.

Speed chases Dr. Nitecol and Lorena, who has framed Speed as the culprit. Then, a fake Mach 5 appears in front of Speed. He chases the fake Mach 5 which can fly and is equipped with weapons that the original Mach 5 does not have.

The Baby Grand Prix is held to celebrate the coronation of Prince Jam of Karint Kingdom. Even though Spritle has not reached the age eligible to participate, he accidentally ends up participating in the race.

Speed goes for a drive with Trixie and makes a new friend named Jeanine. Jeanine is a girl who is fond of automobiles and aspires someday to become a racer. However, it turns out that her father despises cars because he has lost his son in a car accident.

During a race in a desert, Speed meets Dr. Bone, an old archaeologist who was critically injured. It turns out that he was attacked during his search for his daughter, Calcia, who has disappeared after discovering Cleopatra’s Tomb.

The Race Against Time: Part 2,

After being struck on the head by a falling rock, Calcia has come to believe herself to be Cleopatra, and has built a kingdom with her followers in the ruins.

The Snake Track,

Speed struggles with the Snake Track, a course with seven tough curves. He drives his car without a clue and finds a man called Rock Force, who outmaneuvered a mysterious car that has chased after him by driving on two wheels.

The Man on the Lam,

On a stormy night, Lamster, a man who escaped from prison, arrives at the home of Delicia, Spritle's girlfriend who is blind. The next day, Lamster forces Speed who showed up to Delicia's house, to drive the Mach 5 to Big Baldy Mountain.

Gang of Assassins: Part 1,

In the darkness, an assassin gang invades the Cupola Castle and plants a bomb to kill the President of Acquirian. Meanwhile, Speed races against Racer X and becomes the champion of the Fujiyama Grand Prix.

Gang of Assassins: Part 2,

Speed tracks down the assassin gang to an old oriental castle but ends up being captured by assassins who were awaiting him.

The Race for Life,

After winning a race abroad, Speed saves a girl, Tanya, who was being attacked by a group of men in town. Tanya tells Speed that her brother, the chief of her tribe, was bitten by a viper, and the serum must be delivered within three hours.

The Supersonic Car,

Speed test-drives a supersonic rocket car designed by Pops Racer for the Vavoom Motor Company to challenge speed records. However, the car gets seriously damaged during the test run, and the test ends in failure.

Crash in the Jungle: Part 1,

After checking the track of Transafrica Grand Prix, Speed boards an airplane with a biology professor named Carnivore. Suddenly, the pilots threaten Carnivore at gunpoint and parachute off the plane with him.

Crash in the Jungle: Part 2,

On the way to an evil mountain where monsters are said to dwell, Speed chases a weird tank that appears in the jungle and finds a secret base at a lake.

The Terrifying Gambler,

Speed and Trixie participate in the Monte Carlo Rally, but the Mach 5 is hijacked in the Alps during a snowstorm by a man with an injured right hand.

The Secret Invaders: Part 1,

An assassin with a rifle is attempting to shoot the Princess who is in the royal box to wave the starting flag for the Mystic Grand Prix. However, the plot fails due to mirror reflection.

The Secret Invaders: Part 2,

Speed escapes from a trap set by the assassin gang, and prevents the assassination of the President of Avalonia, the next target of the assassins. The Vice President and his secretary invite Speed to their official residence.

The Man Behind the Mask,

To participate in a race in the United States, Speed and Trixie board a passenger plane. Dr. Fantasty, a developer of a new type of rocket fuel, is also aboard.

The Car Destroyer,

There is an ongoing mystery that unmanned cars suddenly drive away and disappear. To date, 48,000 cars have gone missing. The police request Speed to track down those unmanned cars as they are not able to catch them.

The Desperate Racer,

Speed joins the Pineapple Grand Prix, a series of grueling courses. In honor of the legend that originated the race, racers are obligated to carry pineapples during the race. Then, it turns out that one of the pineapples has a stolen jewel inside.

The Dangerous Witness,

On a plane to Hong Kong to join a race, Speed witnesses a man being murdered with a poisoned needle, but someone kills the assassin lady to seal her mouth.

Race the Laser Tank,

Speed and Trixie arrive at an airport to head for Hawaii and stumble across a shooting incident aiming at a stranger man and a girl. After their arrival to Hawaii, they find the man they saw earlier dead.

The Great Car Wrestling Match,

Gadge is the father of Gismo, a boy Speed met at a car show. Gadge has a grudge against Speed as he was fired from his team after losing a race to Speed, and he has devoted himself to 'car wrestling,' in which cars smash and destroy each other.

Motorcycle Apaches,

An international space development base is under construction in the American West. In the plains, the equipment to be transported to the base has been robbed by a group called Motorcycle Apaches.

Car with a Brain,

A lightening awakens the 'Monster Car,' a huge monster-like tank resting in an old castle at the foot of the Alps. The Monster Car descends into the city and runs amok bringing total destruction.

Junk Car Grand Prix,

A daughter of a wealthy man, Baron Vondervon, disappeared 12 years ago. In memory of her who dreamed of becoming a racer, Vondervon decides to hold a 'Junk Car Grand Prix', in which only girls of 17 years old are eligible to participate.

The Car in the Sky,

By air, Speed and his fellows are on the way to the Grand Prix, but their plane breaks down due to lightning, falling onto an uninhabited island with other passengers.

The Trick Race,

Speed receives a challenge letter from the Car Acrobatic Team, a team that he defeated in the Alpine Race one year ago. Speed heads for the designated spot although Racer X tries to stop him.
