Ladies' Choice,

Mama and Iola vie for the presidency of the Church Ladies League in a bitterly contested race.

Naomi's New Position,

Naomi's boss expects more than she's willing to do for a promotion. When Mama learns of the request, she chases Naomi's boss around until he publicly admits what he asked.

The Really Loud Family,

When Bubba videos his family for a school project, demonstrating their loudness and rudeness, Mama is excused from organizing a charity event that she didn't want to organize.

Many Unhappy Returns,

Mama puts Bubba in a bind with his boss when she returns a gift that wasn't meant for her and spends the money buying presents for everyone else in the family.

When an ATM gives Mama $800 without charging her account, the family agrees she should keep it. But she returns to the bank and meets the man from whose account it was withdrawn.

My Mama, Myself,

Mama wrestles with the ghost of Grandma Crowley when she finds her mother's broach and realizes it could be worth serious money.

Mama sits in on Vint's poker game when one of his friends has to cancel. After an evening of childhood stories, Vint ends the evening broke and belittled in front of his pals.

Very Dirty Dancing,

Mama and longtime friend Ramon enter a dance competition that Vint and Naomi are contestants in, and nothing is going to stop Mama from winning.

Bedtime for Bubba,

Mama suspects Bubba and his new study partner are doing more than studying. But, while hiding in Bubba's closet, Mama instead discovers Vint and Naomi's attempts to get pregnant.

When a new town dump is planned for her street, Mama refuses to sell the house. A connection to the town's founder is uncovered, and the mayor reluctantly changes plans.

Mama reluctantly gets a phone machine, and Vint and Naomi hide a stray dog in the garage—and convince Mama that she's getting senile when she claims she keeps hearing a dog barking.

When Iola buys a lottery ticket with Mama's change at the store, Mama doesn't care enough to keep the ticket—until Iola wins a chance to spin the lottery wheel for $2 million.

Mama's Layaway Plan,

After going to a cousin's funeral, Mama plans a suitable funeral for herself. However, it will require their savings for vacation and for her to bow out of the bowling competition.

My Phony Valentine,

When Mama claims to have a date for Valentine's Day, Iola resorts to "Rent A Gent," but she gets a much younger and much better looking escort than she expected.

More Power to You,

While Mama disputes a bill, the electric company turns the power off—the night that Bubba has to finish a paper on Abraham Lincoln and Iola is up for an award at the Food Circus.

Mama finally gets the house to herself when everyone goes away for the weekend. But the peace and quiet is far from the paradise she expects.

It's April Fool's Day, and Mama is in a foul mood. She hates practical jokes but gets the last laugh on the rest of the family when she pulls the best joke ever.

There's No Place Like … No Place,

At a rally with no identification, Mama is arrested with people who are homeless. She finds her cousin Cora, who lost her farm, and discovers her cellmates are people much like her.

Reading the Riot Act,

When Mama discovers the president of the Church Ladies League cannot read—and this is the reason for her mistakes—Mama starts a program in the church to teach adults to read.

A Taxing Situation,

When an IRS agent stops by to deliver Mama's $250 refund, he realizes that she has been less than truthful on her tax returns and will now owe back taxes, interest, and penalties.

Naomi and Vint decide to adopt a child, but they are rejected as parents by the adoption agency. When all finally seems lost, Naomi discovers that she is pregnant.
