Katie Clark, the new assistant D.A. in town, is trying to juggle the demands of being a single parent and perform a stellar job on her first prosecution case. But, to her horror, she learns that the suspect she’s trying to convict is her former lover.

A surgical mishap and a malpractice suit aren’t the end of Dr. Bradley Gray’s troubles. He’s been murdered! Jerri Stone’s little sister, Nurse Rachel, is the number one suspect.

An afternoon fishing expedition evolves into a nightmare. Matlock watches in horror as the boat he just disembarked suddenly explodes into a fireball killing his companion, Judge Stern.

A craving for a down-home barbecue in the inner city leads Matlock into a dangerous situation. After his car breaks down, he’s mugged at knifepoint. Even his barbecue dinner is stolen! However; one good samaritan, Stan Johnson, comes to his aid.
