Toni's plans for a quiet birthday are ruined when Tamar convinces her that the sisters should jet to Miami to celebrate. They take a yacht tour, attend a ball game, and shop for a vacation home. Back in Atlanta, Towanda sets Toni up on a date.

It's My Birthday

The Braxtons travel to Los Angeles, where Toni will be receiving an award. They stay with Tamar and Vince and are irritated by her "house rules." Toni shocks her family by confessing she has lupus and reveals this news at the award ceremony.

I Love L.A.

Toni, Trina, and Towanda travel to Russia for a concert. The airline loses their luggage. In LA, Tamar pressures Vince to help her with her album but tempers flare when they clash over their opinion of how they should proceed.

From Russia with Love

Vince and the Braxton sisters try to get Toni to agree to record a family album. If Toni won't commit, then neither will Tamar. Towanda moves into Toni's house, and chaos ensues. Gabe wants to buy a house for Trina to help their marriage.

Getting The Band Back Together

The Braxton sisters fly out to Los Angeles to throw their mom a 60th party luau, but Tamar and Traci's nasty squabble threatens to ruin the celebration. Toni decides to go house hunting in Los Angeles and is seriously considering moving there.

A Dog of a Birthday Party

Tamar tries to dissuade Toni from posing for Playboy, even booking a nude shoot for her. Evelyn goes on a blind date with a white guy, a first for her. Tamar throws an "appreciation" party for Vince to convince him to help her with her solo album.

To Play Or Not To Playboy

On Tamar's advice, the Braxtons fly to Maryland for a family reunion with their father. They visit their childhood house but are kicked out by the new owners. Dad doesn't show up to brunch, leaving the sisters devastated.

You Can't Go Home Again

The girls' father attends a family dinner causing a huge blow-up with their mom. Towanda delivers separation papers to her husband. Traci commits to moving to Atlanta, but Toni decides she is moving to LA, jeopardizing the Braxton album.
