Ephram returns home from a summer program at the Juilliard School of Music, brimming with happy memories. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown copes with his new partnership with Dr. Abbott.

…There Is a Reaction,

At her father's suggestion, Amy is determined to make the most of her senior year in the wake of Ephram returning from New York and telling her that piano has to be his priority.

Ephram regrets promising Nina that he would watch over Hannah at school. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown tries to ignore the tension between Dr. Abbott and Edna.

The Birds & The Batteries,

Andy is uncertain about what to do when Delia naïvely stumbles upon Nina's sex toy and starts asking questions. Meanwhile, Ephram attempts to write Amy a love letter.

Dr. Brown is embarrassed after he picks a fight with Everwood's "patron saint," Amanda Hayes, who has been caring for her profoundly disabled husband for the past five years.

Shoot the Moon,

Dr. Brown worries that Ephram is beginning to question his chances of getting into Juilliard. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown jumps headfirst into helping Amanda and her disabled husband, John.

Best Laid Plans,

When Jake secretly informs Dr. Brown that Ephram came to him for an STD test, Dr. Brown and Dr. Abbott decide to convince Ephram and Amy to abstain from sex.

The Tipping Point,

Ephram faces losing one of the most important relationships in his life after he hurts his mentor's feelings. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown and Amanda experience a miraculous breakthrough.

Ephram and Amy decide they're ready for sexual intimacy and plan to meet at the Abbotts' cabin. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown and Amanda chaperone Delia and Charlie's pizza date.

When Jake's girlfriend from Los Angeles arrives in Everwood unexpectedly, Nina comes to his rescue. Meanwhile, Dr. Abbott and Rose worry about Amy.

The Perfect Day,

Dr. Brown faces repercussions when Nina accidentally discovers him and Amanda together. Meanwhile, Ephram and Amy convince a reluctant Hannah to skip school for the day.

Since You've Been Gone,

Dr. Brown and Amanda decide to tell Delia and Charlie about their relationship. Meanwhile, Amy is convinced that Hannah is misguidedly saving herself for Bright.

As they've become somewhat comfortable with their new relationship, Dr. Brown and Amanda find out that her husband, John, has experienced a miraculous breakthrough in his recovery.

A Mountain Town,

Feeling conflicted over recent news about Madison and not willing to jeopardize Ephram's Juilliard audition, Amy tells Ephram that he should take his father to New York instead of her.

On the morning of his Juilliard audition in New York, Ephram meets Madison for coffee and becomes distraught when she tells him that she was pregnant with their child.

Ephram considers his options in the wake of his ex-girlfriend's life-altering revelation. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown is stunned after learning the extent of Nina's feelings for Jake.

To Dr. Brown's dismay, Ephram makes a bold move to raise money for a plane ticket to Europe. Meanwhile, Nina can't understand why Dr. Brown has been acting strangely lately.

Ephram prepares to leave his family and friends for a new life in Europe. Meanwhile, Nina and Jake (recurring guest star SCOTT WOLF) contemplate starting a business together.

Where the Heart Is,

Dr. Brown discusses with Delia the possibility of leaving Everwood to accept a prestigious position with a Chicago hospital. And Bright finally admits to Hannah that he cares for her.
