Julian rushes to an emergency at Jackie Barlow's alpaca farm, where a new mum desperately needs his help. But rural North Yorkshire isn't always the ideal place to drive when time is of the essence, and Julian gets stuck behind not one, but two tractors.

Julian and Peter must both operate on dogs with tumours. Other patients include hens with an eye infection, a cow having a caesarean, and three surprisingly speedy tortoises.

There's an emotional emergency for Peter at an old friend's farm. Steve's wife is seriously ill, and now her favourite sheep's life is in the balance...

Peter faces a difficult calving at Ed McDonald's farm. The cow is an experienced mum and Ed is an experienced farmer, so Peter senses it's a serious problem.

Peter heads to a neighbour's farm hoping he can save the life of a seriously ill sheep. Her infected foot has become infested with maggots and it's touch and go whether Peter can get her back on her feet.

Greedy terrier Wesley has taken his food obsession too far and eaten an oven glove. Peter operates to try and remove the blockage and save Wesley's life.

A special episode focusing on births and babies. Julian heads to a local farm where a cow is struggling in labour. And with bringing new life into the world such a vital part of a vet's job, Julian's also hoping to assist in the birth of a career.

Julian races to an emergency at a local farm where a cow is unable to stand up. She's suffering from a condition called milk fever, caused by calcium deficiency.

To mark International Dog Day tomorrow, a special episode celebrating the magical relationship between man and dog.

Peter has a very, very big problem in the shape of one-ton bull Pip. He needs an urgent foot trim but he's reluctant to lie down and allow Peter do his job. One wrong move and Peter could find himself flattened!

In this special episode, the vets treat some of North Yorkshire's exotic residents, great and small.

There's some extreme vetting for Julian as he tries to help a struggling ewe give birth in an open field while it's pouring down with rain. Can he defy the elements with a successful delivery?

Julian faces a massive challenge trying to save one of the biggest calves he's ever had to deliver. And farmer Rob, who lost a newborn two days ago, is fearing the worst.
