While on the run, Danny and Evan discover a sick hippo. They trace her illness to a local farm and risk discovery in order to save her.

Danny is enlisted to help with an outbreak of rabies. Meanwhile, Danny has a falling out with Alice, the feisty British vet sent to work with him.

Rosie and Max finally tie the knot but tragedy strikes when they deal with a rogue elephant at Mara.

Danny and Alice rescue a vicious and endangered wild dog. The family is shocked when the wild dog expert who arrives turns out to be Alice's ex.
