We meet baby forest animals from koala joeys munching on eucalyptus leaves to grizzlies enjoying fresh fish. Antics of her baby offspring tire out a gibbon mother in Asia, while in Australia, a joey tries the patience of its koala mom.

Dugongs and sea lions, stay close to their mothers for food and training and sea turtles start to hatch. Manatees enjoy some laid-back sea exercise, but elsewhere, seahorses and octopuses learn camouflage survival skills beneath baby humpback whales.

A visual safari through the African savanna shows the offspring of elephants, hyenas, rhinos and zebras as they greet the sunrise. During the day frisky young cheetahs, wildebeests, kudus and lion cubs learn the ropes and do a little playing.

In the jungle young lemurs, macaws, marmosets and elephants munch on breakfast and take baby steps. Afternoon is playtime and an opportunity to discover the skills needed for independence as lemurs, chimps and even pythons learn the ropes.

Deserts on all continents are home to some very hardy baby animals as the heat would be daunting for most, from prairie dogs to camels and ostriches, baby bison, burrowing owls, snakes and tortoises take it in their stride.

From the peaks of the rainforest to the Himalayas, baby red pandas, mountain goats, snow leopards and bald eagles all adapt to their rugged terrain. Mountain lion cubs romp on one continent and baby gorillas play on another.

Australia's isolation led to a unique evolution of its wildlife, as seen in an array of colorful baby birds, emus, dingoes and adorable koalas. We see kangaroo joeys learning how to box, while platypuses frolic and Tasmanian devils keep growing.
