Ellen struggles with trust issues and accuses her long-time boyfriend of cheating. The sisters clash over parenting choices and set up Ione on a date after Ellen catches her masturbating in the shower.

Ione tells Ellen that her boyfriend Bakari is going to propose. Ruby makes a scene at her husband's office about an employee who dresses inappropriately. Ione must confront her aunts when they steal her shoes.

Money divides the sisters when Ruby can't afford a down payment for their business. Ione dates an older man; realizes she hasn't moved on from her ex. Ruby finds creative places to have sex with her husband.

Ione's college friend Londyn, formerly known as Juan, is now a trangender woman, and Ione must embrace this change or lose her friend. Ruby's daughter Riley wants to lose weight, but takes it to the extreme.
