One day to go to the wedding of the millennium at Drovers Run. The wedding preparations are a beautiful thing. But the imminent arrival of Nick’s mother, Liz, strikes a discordant note.

Six months on from Claire’s death, Tess (Bridie Carter) has thrown herself into her work with an almost manic intensity.

Tess (Bridie Carter) is disconcerted to learn Stevie (Simmone Jade Mackinnon) can “read” her so well whilst playing poker. Stevie explains the theory of ‘tells” – signs that give away what a person is really thinking.

Late at night Tess (Bridie Carter) is woken by a strange noise in the kitchen and discovers Stevie helping herself to a beer from the fridge. Both, however, are subsequently surprised by a stranger called Jack Blake.

When Harry (Marshall Napier) offers Alex (Aaron Jeffery) and Nick (Myles Pollard) a partnership deal in Killarney after he dies on the proviso that they give up Wilgul and move back home now, the boys become even more determined to save their farm.

Running low on petrol, Stevie (Simmone Jade Mackinnon) and Terry (John Jarratt) stop at a decrepit truckstop run by an old drunk named Ken Logan (Harold Hopkins).

Tess (Bridie Carter) has some extra feed on her hands, having inadvertently over-ordered. She gives it to Nick (Myles Pollard) and Alex (Aaron Jeffery).

Jodi and Stevie are not getting on well, with Jodi fed up at what she sees as Stevie’s unnecessary risky behaviour.

Alex is taken by surprise when his first love, Tracey Morrison, arrives at Killarney.

While excitedly preparing for Charlotte’s first birthday party, Tess receives a process server from Peter Johnson, Charlotte’s biological father, demanding custody. Distressed, Tess calls on the Ryans for help.

As Tess tries to come to terms with the custody battle for Charlotte, the re-opening of a long forgotten well on Drovers Run brings to the surface some ghosts from the past.

Drover’s has a squatter problem: somebody is lighting campfires. While tracking the culprit, Stevie (Simmone Jade Mackinnon) comes to grips with a mysterious and handsome stranger whom it turns out is her ex-husband, Jarred (Grant Bowler).

It’s sale day and Tess (Bridie Carter) is in a hurry to register her cattle so that they can get the best price. The truck stop is crowded with people wanting to do exactly the same thing.

Meg’s sister, Celia Rivers (Glenda Linscott), arrives at Drovers. Partly apprehensive, partly excited, Meg has always lived in the shadow of her glamorous, talented, singing sister. But Celia has arrived for a sea-change or a country change.

Meg is full of preparations for her and Jodi’s leave-taking, and in her excitement fails to notice that Jodi is harbouring a sliver of doubt.

The Bachelor and Spinsters Ball, five hours drive from Gungellan, is one of the major social events on the country calendar.

Stevie’s daughter Rose (Basia A’hern) turns up at Drovers unexpectedly. She’s run away from her Mum to live with her Aunty Stevie.

The weekend of Stevie and Alex’s rodeo school has finally arrived and they are excited with the prospect of turning their fresh-faced students into rodeo stars.

A minor car accident at the truckstop brings Stevie and Kane Morgan (Craig McLachlan) together for the first time. Stevie, at fault, is smitten by this handsome stranger when he tells her not to worry about the damage to his car.

On a stiflingly hot summer morning, Tess bakes a batch of bread using organic rye flour she bought from one of the members of her organics group. It’s also her Saturn birthday and she laments to Stevie that she hasn’t achieved any of her goals.

Kane’s relationship with Stevie and Alex strains their friendship.

McLeod's Daughters,

The course of true love never runs smooth – or at least, it doesn’t for Tess. Madly in love with Nick, she’s decided to turn traditional courtship on its head and ask him to marry her, but it’s easier said than done.

For Love or Money,

Stevie is in love with Kane. She’s happy for herself and for Tess who has announced her betrothal to Nick.

While Tess and Nick work to set up a pump in the dam, talking wedding plans, Tess loses her engagement ring. Nick dives underwater to retrieve it, but he's under for such a long time that Tess begins to panic, thinking that he's drowned.

When the Gungellan CFS is called out to a fire at local farmer Barry Davies’ place, Nick lets Jodi take control. Despite feeling a twinge of jealousy at the rapport between Luke and Ainsley, Jodi handles the situation well.

After an earth tremor, the cattle are skittish and an underground water pipe has become blocked on Drovers Run.

Tess and Nick are on their honeymoon, and Stevie is determined to prove she can run the property on her own. Now that she is part owner of Drovers she feels the pressure that holding something valuable in your hands can bring.

My House is Your House,

Whatever happened to domestic bliss? Nick's move into the homestead has Tess feeling like she's been annexed by the invading Ryans.

A McLeod Daughter,

Past passions are whispering around the halls of Drovers Run as Tess's cousin Jasmine arrives with her father's ashes and a few other skeletons besides.

The Things We Do For Love,

Jasmine McLeod (Jaz) came to Drovers to lay her father's ashes to rest. Tess is thrilled to have her cousin to stay but soon discovers that Jaz is haunted by the death of her fiancé Mark.

Love Interrupted,

Sally Clements, Nick's ex-girlfriend, arrives at Drovers Run with news that is hard to conceal: she is heavily pregnant with Nick's child.

Tensions are rife with Kane now living in the cottage with Stevie, and Sally staying in the big house with Nick and Tess.
