There isn't enough parking at Cobb's. Bannister finds himself parking in Christian's spot which leads to everyone starting to car-pool. Christian wants money from everyone for gas, but no one wants to pay.

No Security in Security,

Cobb's is in the middle of 'Swiss Week' but Bannister has traveling plans of his own; he's to be interviewed for a job in Italy. But there's no mention of him taking Edna. Suddenly an alarm in the store goes off and changes all his plans.

Labor and Other Relations,

Howard is thrilled with the new video security system until he learns that one of the pieces of outmoded equipment it promises to replace is Alf Scully. Bannister's please to Mrs. Cobb go unheeded and Alf is let go.

No Cause for Alarm,

Edna has found out she's pregnant! As soon as Howard is in a good mood, she plans to tell him. Unfortunately, this seems to be Howard's worst week so she's forced to tell him in less than ideal circumstances.

X-Ray Marks the Spot,

When Marlene Weimaraner discovers the memo limiting coffee breaks, she threatens to take action as she recruits others to form a union. Suddenly Bannister finds himself in the middle of a 24-hour strike.

Everyone's a Winner,

Cobb's Bingo is going great, business has never been better. The winner is promised a trip to Greece, but when Alf switches two blind men's service dogs things get crazy at the store.

Seven Days Make One Week,

Howard stretches the rules a little to allow a young woman to set up her sesame fruit-bar stand in the store. The other staff members soon become distracted by her beauty and Edna gets jealous.

A Rosendbloom by Any Other Name,

Jennifer's raise is delayed and she has put a down payment on a car. Bannister discovers a little old lady standing in the cold. Marlene plants the idea that Jennifer isn't getting the raise because she's black.

…Or Get Off the Pot,

Edna is anxious to see where Howard is taking her tonight for their 6th Anniversary, but he seems to have forgotten. An old friend stops by to announce her new marriage which prompts Edna to look into Couples Therapy

Phantom of the Market,

The staff has prepared a little celebration for Bannister who won the "Manager of the Year" Award. The award comes with a trip to Hawaii, but when food goes missing, Bannister's new title and trip get put on the line.

Murray is saving to buy Bannister's old car, but at five dollars a payment, it's going too slow. He gets a tip from a customer for setting him up with another customer.

Skip to the Loo,

Bannister is panicking when an army buddy of his escapes prison to visit him. Cobb's hold a World Record Jump Rope competition.

Love is a Many Splendored Alf,

Alf puts makeup on an attractive lady shopping which leads to them going on a date. The freezers in the store blow up, and there's a mad scramble to keep the food frozen.

Supermarket Superbowlers,

The staff pose for the camera in bowling uniforms. They're trying to win a local bowling competition with a grand prize of 3,000. Edna wants to bowl, but Howard will only let her if someone else gets hurt.

Otherwise Engaged,

Edna's mother is visiting on the same day Marlene is wearing a ring from some guy she doesn't know the name of. Edna tries on the ring and it gets stuck on her finger. Nothing will remove the ring, and the first thing her mother notices is the ring.

Dog Day After Dark,

Christian is preparing for his first vacation in years. His plane leaves in an hour but he's lingering at the store. When he learns Edna will be taking over, he has a time of relief, until he learns that her first duty will be a conference in Tokyo.

Howard stars as a Cubby Cheese Ball in a television commercial promoting Cobb's. Health food fanatics decide to protest the store but it gets out of hand.

A no-frills market opens across the street and starts a price-war. Bannister is caught up in his own problems when Edna takes a vacation to rethink the relationship.

My Darling Serpentine,

It's the 7th anniversary of Edna and Howard's first date. Howard was busy and has Alf pick out a present for him, but instead of jewelry, he brings back a hamster.

Edna's New Friend,

Edna has tickets for a ballet show, but Howard doesn't want to go. He then gets jealous when she takes someone else.

Jack Be Numbskull,

The staff starts gossip about Marlene and Christian who apparently went home together after an office party.

Bannister is in competition with another store manager for the Vice-President position at Cobb's.
