Monty helps gardeners who are battling with the elements. On the South Coast, Monty faces a garden ravaged by salty winds and in Snowdonia, he'll be helping a mountainside garden stuck between a rockery and a hard place.

Monty helps two families create gardens that are as much for the children as for the adults. In a quiet corner of Doncaster, Nikki and John plan to make a garden with solely edible plants.
