Dylan's mother, Millie, leaves her husband after discovering he had an affair and after showing up to stay with her son, she ends up on a date with Julian.

The Perfume Game,

Sandra scrambles for a power position in an advertising agency after she fibs and tells her new date she is a major executive in the business world.

After his ex-wife tries to take the building as part of the divorce settlement, Julian fakes his death on a fishing trip and leaves 227 to a mysterious cousin from Jamaica.

Come The Revolution,

Brenda forces Mary and Lester to lay-down-the-law after she purchases a revealing dress for her party and then refuses to return it.

Guess Who's Not Coming To Christmas,

On Christmas Eve, when her family and friends are called away one-by-one, Mary is left to find a way to get her humbug landlord to share some holiday cheer.

Where Do We Go From Here,

Lester dreams he and Mary go on to their great reward in heaven--actually a bizarre restaurant--and are later sent down to a warmer climate in which they can glimpse how different their friends and family would be without them.

When Lester wins a contest and becomes the temporary host of a radio show, Mary decides to test his boast that his 'velvet voice' will drive women crazy! She asks an attractive female friend to fawn over her husband.

When Travis finds $250,000 in the back of his limo, Julian, Dylan and Pearl take a new-found interest in him as does mobster Mr. Bigg who, along with his moll and bodyguards, holds the residents of '227' hostage until Travis hands over the loot.

The tenants of '227' travel to Atlantic City to see singer Luther Vandross in concert. However, the trip becomes even more exciting than they anticipated when Warren proposes to Rose and Lester decides to invest in a prize fighter.

Do Not Pass Go, Part II,

Rose finds Warren kissing another woman and calls off their wedding, while Travis tries to win Luther Vandross tickets for Pearl's birthday.

You Gotta Have Art,

Mary volunteers to help Eva polish up her art gallery, but when she accidentally creates a piece of artwork, she sets off a critical rage that celebrates her as a housewife-turned-artist.

No Place Like Home,

After finding herself guilty of retreating from some homeless people outside of 227 rather than helping them, Mary befriends a homeless man named Ted and, with Lester's help, tries to find work and shelter for him and his friends.

Nightmare On "227",

After Mary takes the lead in a low-budget horror film, the former star vents his anger by attempting to cause her demise.

The Class Of '90,

While excitedly preparing for Brenda's high school graduation, Mary is stricken with appendicitis and ends up sharing a hospital room with a woman who has had extensive plastic surgery.
