The team travel up the east coast of Malaysia. Monsoonal conditions in the South China Sea continue to beat the crew down. Steven gets the team stuck on yet another sand bar.

Season 5, 13 episodes

The crew have unfinished business in Greece and are forced to return to Kos in order to claim their gear. Steven fears their Jet Ski have disappeared into Eastern Europe. Traveling half way around the world the men arrive in Mumbai, India.

Indian Customs,

India proves to be a huge culture shock! India Customs threatens to shut down the expedition and send the Jet Ski back to the United States. Steven fly’s 1000 miles North to New Delhi hoping to get the expedition on the water.

Hope is lost. The government of India is not allowing the Jet Ski to clear customs and suspicious of the men’s intentions. With little faith, Steven fly’s 1000 miles North to New Delhi for face to face meetings.

The trip to New Delhi was successful and the expedition has claimed their Jet Ski. Under the watchful eye of security forces the men are instructed to take their machines 150 out of Mumbai to launch.

The Forbidden Coast of India,

With Jet Ski on the beach, local police try to stop the men from departing. The men discover the coast of India different from anywhere else they’ve been. A horse and cart deliver fuel to the crew.

Rough ocean conditions become the new normal. Coastal Fishermen are suspicious of the expedition. The crew make an unexpected stop that changes everything. Indian government authorities flip flop.

Security Threat,

The crew is told they are a threat to the National Security of India. In just 72 hours all members of the expedition will be arrested. A sanctuary country must be located.

Changing Course,

The crew lay low in Thailand waiting for their Jet Ski. Steven struggles to keep the men focused. Securing their equipment, the expedition head out in the South China Sea for points unknown.

South China Sea Beating,

The crew witnesses the destructive power of a Typhon. A huge thunderstorm forces the men to take shelter in a remote village.

Crossing Borders,

South China Sea conditions continue to assault the team. Checking the men and their Jet Ski out of Malaysia and into Thailand becomes a major problem.

Remote Thailand,

The men enter a remote village in Thailand. Armed security forces approach the team. The expedition’s final destination is just out of reach!

Expedition Leader Steven Moll and expedition medic Patrick McGregor take a look back at what the expedition has accomplished to date. The good, bad, and the ugly.
