Mary Jane embarks on her new position as the anchor of Great Day USA while also having an interesting encounter with a mystery man. In Atlanta, Niecy receives her court settlement.

Drama in the studio thickens as Mary Jane is pitted against her idol and fellow anchor of Great Day USA, Ronda Sales. Niecy tries to balance Dante's wishes with those of her family.

Mary Jane and Justin's relationship goes viral. An old family friend of Helen and Paul's, stirs long-forgotten memories of a love triangle that clouded the early years of their marriage.

Feeling Ambushed,

Mary Jane and Justin's relationship is tested when their notoriety on social media leads to discoveries about Justin's past.

Word of Lee's brimming success and new girlfriend throws Mary Jane's already tenuous relationship with Justin into doubt.

Feeling Destined,

After learning that Paul and Helen are getting a divorce, the Paterson family struggles to cope with the imminent changes.

Mary Jane uncovers information about Justin's past that spin their love into a new phase. Kara and Justin take down a dark horse who has entered the race for the Executive Producer slot.

After learning she has a say in who replaces Garrett - Kara or Justin - Mary Jane questions whether Justin's overtures are motivated by his desire to get her vote.
