Julian Norton has problems with a highland cow called Hilda and Peter Wright performs life-changing surgery on a panting pug named Bramble.

Julian Norton and Peter Wright work together to try to save a working sheepdog. They are also both needed at a local farm, where a cow is in agony.

Julian Norton helps a sick calf, and Peter Wright tends to a two-day-old lamb that has problems with its eyes and a dog that needs major surgery.

Peter Wright receives an emergency call from his favourite farming clients, Steve and Jean Green, whose poorly calf Treacle has collapsed and remains in a weak condition.

Peter Wright must battle a blizzard to reach a patient on a remote farm. Cynthia the pigmy goat is cute and loveable but has a problem.

Peter is tasked with castrating an over-amorous chinchilla, and devoted owner Rodney faces putting down his much-loved sheepdog, Millie.

Peter Wright needs to act fast to save a cow with heart failure, only to find something unexpected in its stomach.

Peter comes to the aid of a cow that has suffered a prolapsed uterus. He also meets elderly cat Sawsa, while Julian helps farmer Chris artificially inseminate his pigs.
