Melonie, a Feng shui consultant and mother of four daughters, wants a bigger home. Her father, Frank, has the down payment. With Frank only thinking of himself, Melonie and the girls have to soften him up so they can get the house they want.

Thomas, a 31 year-old med student, wants a condo. His overprotective parents, Izabela and Ludwig, have the down payment. But they can't agree on anything. With mom and dad rejecting all of their son's picks, it's a full-on family feud.

Twenty-one-year-old aspiring actor Jacob is dying to own a cool actor pad condo downtown. His parents have the down payment. But they can't agree on anything. With his parents pushing for their needs over his, Jacob fights to be heard.

Amanda, a 25-year-old dog agent, needs to get off her cousin's couch and move into a place of her own. Her superman father, Mark, has the down payment. But getting them to agree on anything is next to impossible.

The Posinelli's,

Chris, a 22 year-old, wants a downtown pad. His father, George, has the down payment. But they can't agree on anything. House hunting for this family is going to be tense with an awkward family dynamic that includes Chris' mother and opinionated step-mom.

With their relationship going on two years, Tracey and Dave have decided to buy their first home. Her mother, Joan, and his father, Brian, are helping with the down payment. Brian is also the realtor, much to Joan's chagrin.

Nicole, a young single mom, wants to flee her tiny apartment and buy her first home. Her stepmother, Ruth, has the down payment. But they can't agree on anything. With Nicole's nanny Gala firmly on her side, Ruth is double-teamed but she isn't fazed.

The Lewis/Knowles',

Amanda and Evan want to ditch the trailer park and buy a real home. Evan's bible-thumping parents, Lance and Nancy, have the down payment and Amanda's loose-lipped folks, Larry and Anna, are along for the ride.

The Teeuwsen's,

Alaina, a 26 year-old, wants a condo. Her parents, Barb and Rick, have the down payment. But they can't agree on anything. And with Alaina refusing to compromise, Barb threatens to rescind the offer and send her back to the rental market.

Norman and his girlfriend, Amanda, want a downtown condo. Norman's parents, Lodi and Mercedes, have the down payment. But Amanda and Norman's parents can't agree on anything. And poor Norman is stuck in the middle trying to please everyone.

Staci, a 26 year-old office administrator and single mother, wants a big house in the country. Her parents, Lynn and Dan, have the down payment. But they insist that she find a place closer to home. When Staci refuses to compromise, it all goes downhill.

Joanna desperately needs a better house for her four-month old baby girl. Her domineering parents, Jadwiga and Wes, have the down payment. Matters are made worse when Mom tries to play matchmaker with her single daughter and Arthur, the real estate agent.

Shani wants a cool downtown condo. Her parents, David and Miri, have the down payment. But Miri isn't about to let her young daughter live far from the family suburban home. So Daddy's Little Girl gets crafty and tries to turn Dad against Mom.

Zohar has decided it's time to fly the coop and buy his first house. His best friend and mother, Klara, has the down payment. Their deep mother son bond gets put to the ultimate test as they struggle to find a compromise.

The Basinski's,

Arty and Emma, are circus performers who have joined forces to buy a triplex. Their moms, Anna and Nella, have the down payment. But Anna thumbs her nose at everything and Nella, who is also their realtor, doesn't like their preference to buy downtown.

Back from five years of travelling, Devon is ready to settle and buy her own place. Her parents, Cathy and Gerry, have the down payment. But finding a home they both like is a major struggle. Chris, Devon's realtor brother, is on hand to keep the peace.

Young, hip, and soon-to-be homeless, Dessa and Tony are excited to buy their first home in the trendy west end. Monica, a contractor and Dessa's mom, has the down payment. But Dessa and Tony clash with her plan to buy a fixer-upper.

The Cerzosimo's,

Claire, 27, is a princess who wants to buy her own perfect palace. Her parents, Frank and Mirella, have the down payment. But Frank's definition of a starter home is nothing like the luxurious abode Claire has in mind.

Steve won $75,000 in the lottery and he's buying his mom, Mona, a house. Annette, his very pregnant wife, is not happy with the decision. With the two women in his life at odds, Steve is forced to play both sides.

The Marchenko's,

Natalia desperately wants to claim her independence and buy a downtown condo. Her parents insist that she stay in the suburbs. With her tenacious best friend by her side, Natalia goes head-to-head with her parents to get what she wants.

Omer needs to move out of his parent's house but his parents want him to live with them forever! He bands together with his sister, Sarah, to wear them down so he can fly the coop and buy a downtown condo.

Back from the Navy, Kevin plans to buy a modern turnkey home with his girlfriend. But Mom and Dad will only consider fixer-uppers and a place close to theirs. The search begins and the real estate power struggle has Kevin swearing like a sailor in no time

Sindhu is desperate to move out the family home and buy a downtown condo. Her parents want her to get married and find a place close to home. Sindhu is forced to put her foot down or her dreams of independence will vanish before her very eyes.

Katie and Howard need to ditch their one-bedroom apartment and buy their first home. Their parents insist that the kids take in tenants and roommates. Katie and Howard love to act but playing the part of the landlord is too much drama for them to handle.

Toni is fiercely independent, but runs straight to "Mommy Moneybags" when she decides to buy a bigger house. Mom agrees to bankroll the move, but that doesn't mean she's going to write a blank cheque or keep her opinions to herself.
