A New Kind of Disaster,

A blazing car plunges off a bridge and onto a motorway and paramedic Paul has to climb into the vehicle to save the driver. Over in the Yorkshire Dales a veteran cyclist is badly hurt and a cow leaves a farmer with serious injuries.

A pensioner dies after a car crashes into a bus queue, and the team must race to save the life of her 90-year-old friend.

Marathon of the Mountains,

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance chopper flies a patient badly injured in a fall, and paramedics Lee and Al are sent to the Three Peaks to deal with two charity fund-raisers injured while taking part in the trek known as the `Marathon of the Mountains'.

A motorcyclist is seriously injured on a busy shopping street. Paramedics straighten the man's shattered thighbone, but on the flight to hospital their patient takes a turn for the worse. A bus crashes into a hedge after the driver collapses at the wheel.

Wrong Thing to Eat,

The team is sent to assist a partially sighted pillion passenger hurt in a crash involving her boyfriend's motorbike. The paramedics also try to save a toddler choking on a toy.

Rough Day on the A1,

On the A1 motorway, a lorry crashes into a concrete matrix sign leading to a major rescue operation.

To Make Things Worse,

A premature baby has breathing difficulties and there's a desperate race to fly mother and child 30 miles away for life-saving treatment. Plus, a biker is badly hurt after a crash with a car and the team must treat him in a bed of stinging nettles.

Looking Over All the Land,

Cameras follow the flying doctors and paramedics of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, who cover thousands of square miles of rugged landscapes, dramatic dales and bleak moors.

Horses and Head Injuries,

Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics are faced with a dilemma after they are called to attend a horsewoman fighting for her life with a head injury.

From Your Boyfriend's Bike,

The flying doctors and paramedics of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance attend a partially sighted woman thrown from the pillion of her boyfriend's motorbike. The chopper's state of the art navigation system is caught out by an emergency in a newly built street.

Roadside Surgery,

Air Ambulances go to a head-on crash on a road near the coast where they perform surgery on a driver at the roadside. A biker is thrown from his bike on the busy A1 motorway and a heart patient is dashed to a specialist unit for micro surgery.

Llama Out of Control,

Helimed 99 is involved in a race to reach a walker in cardiac arrest on a hill in the North Yorkshire Moors. Plus, a woman is badly injured in a freak accident with a llama.

Pillion Launch,

Paramedics fight to save a biker badly injured in a collision with a car, while they try to reassure his wife who was thrown from the pillion in the impact. A chauffeur is trapped in his hi-tech car and a horseman is in agony after a freak hunting fall.
