After Jane discovers Mateo's abduction, chaos ensues, especially when they all learn Sin Rostro is involved and demanding a ransom.

Jane is in a rhythm with Mateo, but finds herself out of step with Rafael and Michael and the potential love triangle brewing between them.

When a slot opens up in the graduate program that Jane has been waiting for, she is faced with her first big motherhood dilemma - leaving Mateo sooner than expected.

Jane and Rafael are still at odds about celebrating Mateo's first Christmas. Jane discovers the scholarship she thought she'd been awarded hasn't been.

Chapter Thirty-One,

Jane struggles to sleep train Mateo and the Villanueva woman are divided on what is the best method. She is also beginning her new job as a TA with basketball players looking for an easy A.

Chapter Thirty-Two,

In the middle of the night, Jane gets a burst of creative energy and starts her thesis. Unfortunately, Mateo spills orange juice all over her computer causing it to lose all her hard work.

Chapter Thirty-Three,

Jane's crush on Professor Chavez is popping up in her dreams and she needs to evaluate her feelings. Xo and Jane find Liliana's engagement ring and think that Rogelio is going to propose.

Chapter Thirty-Four,

Jane is considering whether or not to take her relationship with Jonathan to the next level and turns to Xo for advice. Xo and Rogelio have their own relationship issues to work out.

Chapter Thirty-Five,

Jane and Michael are back together, almost! Jane attempts to get Rafael and Michael to reconcile, but it doesn't go well. Rafael sulks over losing Jane and ignores Petra's pregnancy needs.

Chapter Thirty-Six,

Jane and Michael are back together and Jane wishes she had never left Michael in the first place. Rafael appears to have regressed to his playboy ways and Petra is concerned about him.

Chapter Thirty-Seven,

Rafael and Petra are new parents but Petra is already back to work and appears to be not interested in motherhood. Xo has invited Alba's old flame Pablo to visit.

Chapter Thirty-Eight,

Jane and Michael's wedding plans are side tracked when the Villanueva house is ruined by a flood. Jane wants a small wedding, but Rogelio wants to throw Jane a big blow out wedding.

Chapter Thirty-Nine,

Jane has a specific idea of how she wants to celebrate her bachelorette party, but when Xo and Lina get involved, nothing goes as planned.

After Jane and Xo's fallout from Jane's bachelorette party, Jane now needs to someone to watch Mateo. When Michael volunteers to help everything is perfect until Mateo does something.

Chapter Forty-One,

Jane takes on additional shifts at the Marbella to make extra money, but it cuts into her time with Mateo. Jane and Rafael agree to a formal custody agreement and decide to use a mediator.

Chapter Forty-Two,

The Villanueva women have a tradition for Mother's Day and Jane is excited to participate as a new mom. However, their plans are thwarted when Petra invites everyone to a brunch instead.

Chapter Forty-Three,

Jane has made big plans to celebrate Mateo's first birthday, but things start to fall apart when she learns there might be an issue with her wedding venue.

Chapter Forty-Four,

After moving up the wedding day, Jane and Michael find all their carefully made plans thrown into chaos. To make matters worse, Jane is unhappy with her current graduate thesis.
