Malik has an epiphany upon returning to his hometown of Richmond. Tasha is reunited with Pookie, who helps her reconnect with her mother, Gladys.

Derwin must suffer the consequences when he misses a routine block in a game that results in the Sabers starting quarterback, Kwan, being sidelined with a season ending injury.

Chardonnay throws a surprise party for Jason at her apartment thinking it'll be a good way to meet his friends.

Tasha and Pookie awkwardly explore becoming more than friends.

An unhappy Melanie does some soul searching and concludes that she wants to finish her residency at John Hopkins.

While Melanie is away interviewing for a residency position at Johns Hopkins in D.C., Derwin does everything he can to avoid returning to an empty home.

Tasha reads a text message on Pookie's phone and finds out he's been living with another woman. Meanwhile, due to the urging of Melaine, Derwin pushes Irv to explore a new contract offer in D.C.

Melanie and Derwin butt heads during the Sabres champsionship game week while Malik gets in a heated dispute when picking Jenna up from rehab.

The Championship Game Episode,

In the season finale, after winning the champsionship game, Derwin and Melanie settle on a resolution to their potential long distance relationship.
