After his wife's death, Dr. Andrew "Andy" Brown trades his career as a renowned neurosurgeon for an opportunity to be a better parent and move his two children to Everwood, Colorado.

The Great Doctor Brown,

Andy and Ephram's fragile relationship is further strained when it appears that Andy is again giving priority to his work. Meanwhile, Ephram's interest in Amy continues to develop.

Dr. Brown's clumsy attempt to come to Nina's defense for being a surrogate mother only makes the situation worse. Meanwhile, Amy cancels her party invitation to Ephram.

The Kissing Bridge,

Drs. Brown and Abbott put aside their differences to educate the town of Everwood regarding a sexually transmitted disease. Meanwhile, Ephram ignores his feelings to comfort Amy.

Dr. Brown accompanies Ephram as he helps a deer return to the wilderness. Meanwhile, Ephram admits that he never asked his father to consider operating on Amy's comatose boyfriend.

Dr. Abbott and Dr. Brown join a murder investigation to find out what really happened and clear the reputations of two men. Meanwhile, Ephram can't seem to stop thinking about Amy.

Ephram confronts a repressed memory of his father cheating on his mother. Meanwhile, Amy worries about Colin's recovery when he becomes violently ill on a date.

The Miracle of Everwood,

Although Amy and Bright are still in denial regarding Colin's recovery, Ephram can't ignore the negative signs. Meanwhile, a New York magazine reporter visits Dr. Brown.

Moonlight Sonata,

Ephram feels the pressure of performing his first piano recital in Everwood. Dr. Brown and Dr. Abbott attempt to diagnose a man with a mysterious sleeping disorder.

Your Future Awaits,

Ephram returns to New York and reconnects with his old life, while Andy faces emotional challenges back in Everwood as past and present begin to collide.

After Colin has a seizure, Dr. Brown strongly advises Colin's father, James, to allow him to perform brain surgery on Colin. But Colin's parents resist the dangerous procedure.

As the day of Colin's surgery approaches, Dr. Brown consults with his accomplished mentor. Meanwhile, Colin takes Amy and Bright on an adventure on his last day before the operation.
