After his wife's death, Dr. Andrew "Andy" Brown trades his career as a renowned neurosurgeon for an opportunity to be a better parent and move his two children to Everwood, Colorado.

The Great Doctor Brown,

Andy and Ephram's fragile relationship is further strained when it appears that Andy is again giving priority to his work. Meanwhile, Ephram's interest in Amy continues to develop.

Dr. Brown's clumsy attempt to come to Nina's defense for being a surrogate mother only makes the situation worse. Meanwhile, Amy cancels her party invitation to Ephram.

The Kissing Bridge,

Dr. Brown accompanies Ephram as he helps a deer return to the wilderness. Meanwhile, Ephram admits that he never asked his father to consider operating on Amy's comatose boyfriend.

Amy is heartbroken--and Ephram is furious--when Dr. Brown decides against performing a risky operation on Amy's comatose boyfriend. Delia is kept from playing with her only friend.

With the help of his friend and surgical partner from New York, Dr. Brown operates on Amy's comatose boyfriend, Colin. Amy relies on Ephram as she awaits the outcome.

As his wedding anniversary draws near, Dr. Brown questions whether he will ever feel like his life is worth living again. Meanwhile, Ephram and Amy share their first kiss.

Ephram and Delia's grandparents make an unexpected visit to check on their son-in-law--and they question Dr. Brown's parenting skills. Meanwhile, Ephram sneaks out to see Amy.

Is There a Doctor in the House,

Delia and her grandmother, Nonny Ruth Hoffman, host a festive birthday party for a grumpy Edna. With everyone trapped due to a big snowstorm, Bright collapses from a burst appendix.

A Thanksgiving Tale,

Ephram tries to recreate the Thanksgiving traditions of their mother as the Brown family spends its first holiday without her. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown must find a patient's brother.

Vegetative State,

When the owner of Everwood's flower shop dies, Dr. Brown discovers that she was growing marijuana in her backyard to help people who were suffering from cancer.

The Price of Fame,

Dr. Brown begrudgingly auditions for a local production of "The King and I." Meanwhile, Ephram's feelings for Amy are complicated by Colin's desire to be his friend.

Colin the Second,

Ephram finds himself serving as confidante and friend to Colin, who continues to struggle to reclaim his life. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown hopes to convince Ephram to resume piano lessons.

Amy and Colin share their first kiss since his surgery. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown hesitantly agrees to attend a party for single people with the recently divorced Reverend Thomas Keyes.

My Funny Valentine,

When a traveling psychologist comes back to town, Dr. Brown realizes how attracted to her he is. Meanwhile, Edna and Irv have difficulty adjusting to life after a heart attack scare.

Everwood Confidential,

Dr. Abbott and Dr. Brown join a murder investigation to find out what really happened and clear the reputations of two men. Meanwhile, Ephram can't seem to stop thinking about Amy.

Ephram confronts a repressed memory of his father cheating on his mother. Meanwhile, Amy worries about Colin's recovery when he becomes violently ill on a date.

The Miracle of Everwood,

Although Amy and Bright are still in denial regarding Colin's recovery, Ephram can't ignore the negative signs. Meanwhile, a New York magazine reporter visits Dr. Brown.

Moonlight Sonata,

Ephram feels the pressure of performing his first piano recital in Everwood. Dr. Brown and Dr. Abbott attempt to diagnose a man with a mysterious sleeping disorder.

Your Future Awaits,

Ephram returns to New York and reconnects with his old life, while Andy faces emotional challenges back in Everwood as past and present begin to collide.

After Colin has a seizure, Dr. Brown strongly advises Colin's father, James, to allow him to perform brain surgery on Colin. But Colin's parents resist the dangerous procedure.

As the day of Colin's surgery approaches, Dr. Brown consults with his accomplished mentor. Meanwhile, Colin takes Amy and Bright on an adventure on his last day before the operation.
