Gingka finds a bey to replace Storm Pegasus and is challenged to a battle by new blader, Masamune.

Masamune refuses to accept a defeat by Gingka and trains hard to finally beat him.

Gingka and Masamune are partnered to battle Chinese opponents Mei-Mei and Chiyun.
