When someone tries to kill Matlock and the British ambassador he’s defending of murder, Matlock realizes that finding his client’s vanished lover and accuser, Shelby, is the key to identifying the real killer.

Matlock suffers a series of mishaps when he tries to find a missing murder witness to clear his client, who’s accused of killing her philandering husband.
