Local entrepreneur Ripley Holden's lavish opening for his new state of the art amusement arcade in Blackpool is overshadowed by a dead body found on the premises.

The murder investigation begins to make Ripley's life very difficult and investors in the arcade start to get twitchy when a huge tax bill surfaces.

Forensic evidence links Ripley to the murder. To make matters worse, his bid to build a Vegas-style hotel is refused.

Natalie provides Ripley with a watertight alibi for the night of the murder, but his business is falling apart.
