Cleaver Greene crashes back to Earth literally and metaphorically, and straight into the clutches of his once mentor and now powerful criminal Edgar Thompson.

Cleaver has been hiding out in the country for four months posing as a writer, but his cover is blown when Barney appears on Australian Story.

Wendy reluctantly takes Cleaver in when he's evicted, David and Scarlet's romance is threatened by her children.

Thompson uses his history with Cleaver to frame him for drug trafficking, but Wendy comes to the rescue. Meanwhile, David desperately tries to save his relationship with Scarlet.

Cleaver ropes in Wendy to help Missy, who has been on a cocaine binge with Cal McGregor, and Barney and Cleaver are brought together by a case.

Cleaver defends David much to Barney's chagrin. Meanwhile, Wendy goes on a date with an old flame as Fuzz and Missy grow closer.

Barney's behavior begins to worry Cleaver and Nicole. Meanwhile, Cleaver finds himself disbarred and at odds with Wendy's new girlfriend Jack.

Cleaver considers a career change and attempts to woo Wendy back to him. Meanwhile, Fuzz and Missy have some surprising news.
