Many dogs abandoned on the League's doorstep must be transferred to the local pound where they are often killed. The staff at the League tries to get Sparkplug back, where her life would be saved.

The cages are full, and a snowstorm may keep potential adopters away. Crowded cages put extra pressure on the staff, who need to work extra hours to care for all the animals.
