Elizabeth brings home a parrot. Elizabeth gets angry with Alvin for falling asleep while she's chatting. One of Alvin's bowling buddies comes by early and interrupts their dinner with talk of germs.

Bad Mood, First Kiss, Ex-Flame,

Alvin comes home from work and finds Elizabeth in foul humor; in the second segment, Elizabeth and Alvin recall their hesitant first kiss. Alvin becomes jealous when Elizabeth invites an old beau to dinner.

Black Eye, Mama For Breakfast, Missing Receptionist,

When Alvin invites a gossipy coworker over for dinner, they must find a creative solution for Elizabeth's black eye. In scenario two, Elizabeth and Alvin try not to wake Mama. Lastly, frenzied Mr. Fuddy appoints Elizabeth as a receptionist for the day.

Bonus Check, House Cleaning, Richard's Mistake,

Elizabeth and Alvin are planning a long weekend but can't leave until Richard's bonus check arrives. Elizabeth gets the urge to do some serious housecleaning. Finally, Alvin and Elizabeth try to patch their neighbors' matrimonial squabble.

Elizabeth tries to stuff Alvin with salad and bread so he has no room for lobster. Elizabeth inundates the milkman with empty bottles and gets in the way of Alvin's tin can recycling. Elizabeth battles seasickness on a boat trip.

Mama's Visit, Bicycle Picnic, Nosey Neighbors,

In preparation for a visit from her mom Elizabeth turns the den into a bedroom with Alvin oblivious. Everything goes wrong when Alvin and Elizabeth bike into the country. Elizabeth recalls her early distaste for a busybody neighbor.

Moosie in Kitchen, Jungle Living Room, Underhills,,

Elizabeth needs help from a man in fixing her husband's dinner. Elizabeth decorates the house in a jungle theme to distract from a problem. Alvin becomes flirtatious with friend Claudette Underhill while his wife is stuck with her dullard husband.

Morning Grouch/Shopping Trip/Tax Day,

The couple gets into an argument that's more twisted than a shout. Elizabeth gets deeply involved in shopping. An open door for the taxman is used by a thief.

Nursery Rhymes, First Business, Lake Allergies,

Elizabeth argues with Alvin about which nursery rhymes are appropriate for her niece. In scenario two, Elizabeth is upset about Alvin leaving town on a business trip. Finally, a weekend at Moosie's rustic cabin reveals Elizabeth's fear of spiders.

Oak Tree, TV Repair, Drive -In,

Elizabeth and Alvin argue over her wanting to plant an oak tree on the patio. In scenario two, a TV repairman comes to fix the set and gets a dose of high voltage. Finally, Elizabeth and Alvin get irritated at a drive-in restaurant.

Phone Calls, Girl Scouts, Census Taker,

Elizabeth pesters Alvin with her constant phone calls to his office. Later, she asks Alvin to quiz her on the Girl Scout leader's handbook to ensure she's prepared for her first camping trip; and bedevils a poor census taker.

Photographer, Honeymoon Over, Numb Deaf and Blind,

Elizabeth does not take seriously Alvin's attempt to win a photo contest. Elizabeth's performance of domestic duties falls short. The effects of physical events for Alvin, Elizabeth, and Mrs. Skinridge alter their ability to act normally.

Ping Pong, Leaking Roof, Vacuum Salesman,

Alvin begins strutting around after beating Elizabeth at ping pong. In scenario two, the lovebirds meet in the kitchen when a thunderstorm wakes them up. Lastly, a vacuum salesman misunderstands Alvin and Elizabeth.

Psychic, Car Repair, Bird Bath,

Elizabeth schemes to go on Alvin's business trip; Alvin explains how the car engine works to Elizabeth; and Alvin's friend, Richard, is tasked with delivering a birdbath.

Magazine quiz, Mental telepathy,Golf,

Elizabeth gives Alvin a magazine quiz. The couple experiments with mental telepathy. Golf practice in the backyard has its own hazards.

Relaxing Afternoon/Hanging Drapes/Bulldog Smith,

Over breakfast, Elizabeth and Alvin decide to share each other's annoying habits. Later Elizabeth has trouble with curtains and Alvin makes things worse. Alvin's old buddy visits, treating Elizabeth with such courtesy Alvin ruins it by acting as usual.

Scared Silly, Slingshot, Elmers Garage,

Elizabeth and Alvin read mystery books at night and every noise in the house scares them silly. In two, Alvin whittles a slingshot on the front porch while Elizabeth makes him jealous flirting with the neighbor across the street.

Sailing, Tv Aerial,Ping Pong,

Alvin prepares to sail on the schooner that he has purchased with a friend. The couple is among the first to purchase a TV during the early days of television. A bumbling neighbor visits and they try to teach him how to play ping-pong.

Day Off/Varnishing Floor/Singing Lesson,

Alvin manages to paint Elizabeth into a corner, and Elizabeth decides to take singing lessons.
