A large group of Michigan conservation officers in the state's Upper Peninsula team up to serve warrants on a business owner who is cutting down more timber than his contract stipulates.

Trespassing for Deer,

Two Michigan conservation officers in the southern part of the state investigate a case of deer carcasses they found near some railroad tracks. Also, a look at an opportunity for veterans and first responders to hunt pheasants.

Bears and Water,

Two Michigan conservation officers, one in the southwest part of the state and the other in the northeast, check on waterfowl hunters. One of them also investigates illegal bear baits.

October Patrols,

One Michigan conservation officer checks on waterfowl hunters while another observes salmon anglers during the busy fall spawning run. Also, the state works to move a historical building away from a receding lakeshore.

Ice, Ice Fishing,

Michigan conservation officers check on ice anglers and snowmobilers in both the Lower and Upper Peninsula. The state also teams up with with local musicians to create a sound track that includes sounds from nature.

Deer and Hockey,

Michigan conservation officers patrol on the opening day of firearm deer season as well as later in deer season. Officers also team up to raise money to help their fellow officers and their families by playing hockey.

Waterfowl West to East,

Michigan conservation officers play a pivotal role during this migration season. As the birds sweep across the state, officers are vigilant sentinels, safeguarding their passage.

Michigan conservation officers in the middle part of the state team up to run patrols in both the fall and the winter for deer season as well as snowmobiling and ice fishing seasons.

Honoring Tuskegee Airmen,

Michigan conservation officers assist maritime archeaologists and divers as they explore, investigate, and document the wreckage of a plane from a 1944 crash. Other officers patrol walleye anglers in the state's Upper Peninsula.

Elk, Hot and Cold,

Michigan conservation officers patrol during the state's early and late elk seasons. Also, a blind hunter has a coveted bear tag donated to him.

Ice Fishing Can Be Cold,

Michigan conservation officers in two different districts patrol ice anglers and snowmobilers in frigid conditions. Also, a DNR state park employee shares some of her personal travel adventures.

Archery and Firearm Deer,

Michigan conservation officers in the southwest corner and south-central part of the state patrol deer hunters during the archery and firearm seasons. Also, a look into generous donations of food from hunters.

ORVs in the Spring,

A Michigan conservation officer checks riders of off-road vehicles during a busy weekend in May. And the wildlife division bands ducks in an urban area.
