The First Will Be Last and the Last Will Be First - A new group of sixteen professional boxers compete in the second season of The Contender. Upon entering the Fight Night Arena, the boxers are greeted by boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard.

Power Of Choice,

Power of Choice - To celebrate the first fight of the tournament, Sugar Ray Leonard takes the boxers out for a night on the town. At training, the Blue Team notices that a boxer on the opposing team looks a little heavy and may not be ready to fight.

Fire In The Kitchen,

Fire in the Kitchen - Tension rises and tempers flare among members of the Blue Team as the pressure of making it to the second round sinks in like never before.

Let 'em Sweat - After a tough fight with Aaron Torres, Gary Tiger Balletto returns to the Contender Loft with the first win for the Gold Team. Now with the Power of Choice, the Gold Team surprises the Blue Team by calling out their most eager fighter.

Old Rivals - Boxing champion Sugar Shane Moseley pays a surprise visit to the Contender Gymnasium. One boxer steps up and challenges the champ to spar. The other boxers take notice and enjoy the show.

To Be The Man You've Got To Beat The Man,

To Be The Man, You've Got To Beat The Man! - Only two fights remain in round one of the Contender Tournament. While one boxer pressures himself to choose the toughest opponent, another takes it easy.

The Elite Eight - With the first round of the Contender Tournament coming to a close, Sugar Ray Leonard takes out the final eight boxers, the Elite 8, to celebrate their ascent to round two.

Dog Fight - The tension between two adversaries reaches a near boiling point. When their grudge finally comes to a head, the fight becomes brutal as they fight with everything they have to win.

Por La Rasa! - After an all-out battle with Walter 2 Guns Wright, a victorious Cornelius K-9 Bundrage receives a warm welcome when he returns to the Contender Loft.

Final Four - It started with sixteen professional boxers, all competing for their shot at glory. Now, only four remain.

Final Two - Live from Staples Center, Los Angeles, California with over 12,000 people in attendance, the final two boxers meet for their final match in determining The Contender 2 champion and winner of half a million dollars.
