After ten years in jail Miki Anderson returns to Savage River to try and start afresh, but a new crime rocks the town again and people can’t help but be suspicious.

As the town prepares for Savage River’s annual celebration, Hugh’s disappearance has Colleen worried and Miki hoping that she doesn’t become the prime suspect.

As Detective Rachel Kennedy begins to investigate the new homicide, town secrets start to emerge, and new motives become apparent.
