Miami. October 18, 2001, 14-year-old Dwayne Jackson from Southern California was shot with a shotgun by an unknown passenger in a taxi cab. May 4, 2006, security guard Frutoso Anguiano was taken by surprise by four armed men who assaulted and killed him.

Cleveland. April 14, 2007, 37-year-old Gregory Fitz and three friends were returning from a night out when two males attempted to rob them. March 18, 2006, 25-year-old Jaylin Smith and friend were victims, instantly killing Jaylin.
