Episode 1

In this episode, 48 hours since their last meal and hunger grips the group as the harsh reality of island life is dawning. The race is on to bring food back to camp before they become too weak to hunt.

Episode 2

The men are radically losing weight, existing on a paltry average of just 300 calories a day. With their very survival hanging in the balance, the castaways lose patience with those they feel are not pulling their weight.

Episode 3

Three weeks in and the group is barely getting by on a meager diet of snails and coconuts. Willing to take ever-greater risks for food, Mike and Chris battle with treacherous tides in a desperate search for much-needed fruit.

Episode 4

In this final episode, the men enter their fourth week of living on the island and the group is hungry and divided. And without unity, the men are not gathering enough food to survive.

Episode 5

When Bear returns to the Island to see the results of his experiment, he gets to see first hand how the men have been living for the past four weeks. He tours the camp reflects with them men on their personal approaches to surviving on The Island.

Episode 6

Old and young go head to head on Bear Grylls’ epic survival series. Marooned separately on a pair of remote tropical islands, which generation has what it takes to survive when pushed to the limits of human endurance?

The young realize they’ve chosen the wrong campsite when rain turns it into an uninhabitable swamp. They move in with the older group who have set up camp further north, but the older group isn’t entirely pleased with their new neighbors.

With old and young now living side by side, the islanders are hoping to hit their stride; but a few weeks into their time on the island, lack food is an ever-pressing concern, and tempers are fraying.

This time the islanders face Mother Nature at her most violent and brutal. Having endured a series of torrential downpours which have ravaged their campsite, unknown to them a hurricane is brewing 100 miles to the north.

After four weeks on the island, the castaways have lost much of their bodyweight, and they are increasingly beleaguered as they enter their last days. 50-year-old Karen is suffering more than the rest, with dangerously low blood sugar.

In this series of epic survival, Bear Grylls maroons two sets of people from different generations on deserted islands. Wearing just the clothes on their backs and armed with some basic tools, which generation is better equipped to survive?
