First Impressions,

Room Service makes your home say welcome in a big way! Sarah looks to neutral tones: tiles, marble and stone to create a timeless appeal. We learn the basics of framing your favourite art pieces and create a bathroom vanity from a vintage sewing table. When it's all finished you'll be greeting guests in style!

Room Service looks to the stars to bring texture, warmth and earthy appeal to a Capricorn's 500-square foot apartment. We find out how an element of your zodiac sign guides your design choices. And, inspired by museum exhibits, Sarah shows you how to apply "words" that you love to your walls. It's a comfortable, contemporary look that's just right for any earth girl!

Room Service gives a two-year-old girl her first palace. Sarah creates a bedroom using pink and yellow fabrics and new and vintage furnishings. We learn how to dress a lampshade in delicate dried rose petals. And, Sarah creates cloud-like pillows and a duvet in a variety of pink fabrics. Making a kid's dream come true has never been easier!

Ensuite Dreams,

Room Service goes over the top to create a luxurious master bath from what is essentially an empty room. Sarah's palette of creams, golds and pinks are rooted in a gilded age. The clawfoot tub, elegant accessories and unique storage ideas give the bath a formal, yet practical touch. Its romantic beauty will undoubtedly make this bathroom the most popular room of the house!

Made To Measure,

Room Service energizes a live-work studio with a 60's makeover. Sarah uses bright, punchy and fun colours as the basis for furniture, storage and paint solutions that are all versatile enough for work and play. We learn about vintage phones from an avid collector and even how to bring new life to old tile floors. Vinyl, linoleum and chrome: if it's bright, it's all right!

Two brothers, two bedrooms, no waiting. Room Service gets busy making each room suit the personality of its young occupant. Sarah gives one the nautical touch and the other an explorer's theme. We learn the fine art of crafting furniture from reclaimed wood and find accessories each brother will love. In fact, these rooms will keep each boy happy for a long time to come!

Room Service has got some great ways to make a formal dining room fun again! Sarah's inspiration tends toward a vintage look, with painted furniture, florals and folk art. We learn about the use of colour through the 1930's and 40's and how to reupholster second-hand chairs. It's a champagne look on a malted milk budget!

Room Service makes a formal living room, warm and inviting. Sarah's inspiration grows from opened yellow roses, antique tea sets, sun dappling on hardwood floors. We get a lesson on the restoration of old picture frames and Sarah gives lampshades the gold leaf treatment. It's all about style you can use!

Room Service gives a facelift to a kitchen that's got to serve a lot of needs. Sarah brings practical solutions to this space by replacing counters, painting cupboards, and adding a new table and chairs. The laundry area and even the dog's accessories get some innovative storage solutions. Once everything's done, this kitchen will be family-friendly and then some!

Want a room to just lounge around in? Room Service shows you how to make it sophisticated, comfortable and functional. For starters Sarah paints the space bright red, adds a black leather lounge and white fur rug. We learn about the popularity of Danish teak furniture and Sarah carves an entertainment centre from a room closet. It's a great place in which to shut out the world!

Room Service pulls out all the stops to create a guestroom that's lush, glamorous and just plain decadent. Sarah takes her cue from the colours silver, blue and white in delivering a luxe look and appeal. We learn how to create a decadent silk bed skirt and the secrets behind restoring silver objects. Once you check-in you'll never want to leave!

Our client runs a busy corporation out of a loft, which is also his home. Sarah and Room Service make his office space user-friendly by lightening the colours and installing a new desk and storage solutions. We learn the history of exotic kilims and Sarah creates a fabric panel that separates the office from the rest of the home at the end of the day. Nine to five never looked so good!

Baby Makes Three,

Room Service helps expecting parents to create a soothing space that is welcoming to the infant and visitors alike. The muted palette inspires Sarah as she creates a soft, dreamy duvet and pulls a vintage dresser into service in a way that helps it to grow with the child. We're bench side as a craftsperson shares her passion for fine silver rattles and spoons. Watch it all come together as baby makes three!

Room Service goes the distance, ripping apart an outdated master bathroom in favour of something fresh and new. Sarah gives the space a hotel look, befitting of a top boutique hotel we visit in Montreal. It's clean and simple; stone, marble and chrome form the backdrop for our master bath, a modern retreat from the every day!

Room Service carves a guest nest out of the third floor of a Victorian duplex. Sarah uses a leafy, natural pallette inspired by the homeowner's collection of floral paintings. We learn how to buy the right bed linens and visit an artist who's recognized for her delicate floral canvasses. Sarah and her contractor create a pair of mosaic topped occasional tables for inside or out. This guestroom will never see an off-season!

Lakeside Living,

Room Service makes a simple bunky cottage truly special. Sarah infuses a palette of creams, blues, yellows and lavenders into the small space, making it light, airy and tuning it into its bucolic surroundings. Along the way we learn how to create fun cottage carry-alls and all about the time honoured art of quilt making. Let us show you how to kick back in style!

Room Service cracks open a typical city condo by making it larger and warmer at the same time. Removing a wall creates a new dining space and opens the kitchen to some much-needed light. Sarah's colour cues lean toward spicy reds, oranges and persimmon against a cool white backdrop. You learn how to accessorize shelves like a pro and where to find up and coming art before anyone else does. It's an urban look with an eclectic hook!

Room Service climbs high above the rooftops to give an outdoor deck the Polynesian touch. Sarah looks to exotic Morocco and the South Seas for ways to cool a space that's totally open to the sun. She builds a roof structure and versatile wooden loungers of teak. We learn about tropical style from the pros and do a bit of plant shopping. The road to Bali is a shorter trip than you think!

Room Service creates what is without a doubt the room of a teen girl's dreams. Sarah's palette of pale lavenders and off whites allows the space to grow with the girl; our storage solutions make way for ever-present girlfriends. We find some pre-finished vintage furniture and a renowned artist paints an original for the wall. Sarah's stenciling treatment pulls it all together, making this room act its age and then some!

Room Service tackles an opening living and dining room with solutions so many of us could use. Sarah's ideas to tie the space together begin with a classic paint palette throughout with shots of colour. Her "Flowers 101" project inspires the most beautiful and easy to make arrangements. We travel to Montreal to visit a craftsman who creates a beautiful dining table. All this and Sarah has to ensure that the space is kid-friendly too! We help you to juggle all of these elements like a pro!

Gone Hollywood,

Room Service brings Hollywood glamour to a newly created master suite. Sarah's tailored look mixes simple white linens with elegant accessories and furniture pieces. Her silver-leafed headboard adds to the drama as does a look back at fine antique dresser sets. New drapes and a daybed swathed in velvet make this a first class suite indeed!

Hidden Treasure,

What a find! Room Service takes on a small, unique coach house in the middle of the city. Sarah makes the space even cozier with warm weathered woods and natural colours so it becomes a true retreat from the day-to-day world. Sarah teaches us how to create our own glass table lamps and we search out an avid collector to talk about antique luggage. Come on in and get comfortable!

Executive Suite,

Room Service knows that as CEO of your own home-based business, you deserve a great office. And Sarah doesn't let you down as she warms up a dull and drab space with colours and accents that make you feel as though you've hit the big time. A new desk, chair and wall shelves organize the space and Sarah's unique accessories add a bit of drama and a lot of fun. Sarah also gives the adjoining powder room a make over, infusing a French touch. It's the corner office of your dreams!

Room Service heads to the country to give a run-down century-old cottage farmhouse today appeal. Sarah's inspiration is farm fresh, easy country living as this place gets a once over with lots of do-it-yourself ideas. We hit local antique shops for great accessories and furnishings and show you how to install ceiling and window moldings. We even learn how the fine art of stone masonry. Whatever time of year, this living is definitely easy!
