A woman struggles to walk for 30 years due to an incorrect diagnosis, and a man suffers through a scarring surgery on his face. Both could have been spared suffering with correct diagnoses.

Erin & Jocelyn,

Erin is diagnosed with a hip Labral Tear after a pole-vaulting accident and needs to make a tough decision. Jocelyn is diagnosed with an inner ear infection that keeps her in debilitating pain.

Kristen & Cindy,

After a freak accident injures her elbow, Cindy has surgery that leaves her barely able to move her arm. Kirsten becomes sick with a mystery illness that immobilizes her.

Olivia's stomach starts giving her problems, but the medication she is prescribed only gives her more pain. Stu's dramatic weight loss leaves him in a state of shock at what doctors uncover.

Crystal & Marisa,

Crystal's diagnosis of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis doesn't explain her symptoms. Marisa is told she just has a cold, but when she starts coughing up blood, her mom realizes something is very wrong.

Holly & Jo Ann,

Holly gets a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, will a heart attack lead to the correct diagnosis? Jo Ann notices an unusual patch of skin, and procedures leave her in the worst pain of her life.

Marji is involved in a major car accident and receives a diagnosis that is soon disproven. Mark experiences intense stomach pain and he feels bloated after eating food.

Whitney & Kelly,

Whitney thinks she has the flu but is then told she has 24 hours to live. Kelly experiences facial paralysis but what doctors eventually find is way worse than the initial diagnosis.

Marie & Latoya,

Marie experiences symptoms of Vertigo. That would be better for Marie than what doctors eventually find. Latoya is told she has miscarried, but it's possible the doctors missed something.

Debra's diagnosis of Cervical Myelopathy doesn't stop her intense pain. Lori develops a small rash that rapidly spreads over almost her entire body causing itching and peeling, and doctors are stumped.

Emily & Carrie,

Track star Emily experiences intense stomach pain initially diagnosed as IBS. A seemingly innocent mark on her Carrie's big toe is initially dismissed by a dermatologist.

Frankie & Lynn,

Frankie has excruciating pain in her stomach and hopes that a specialist can help. Lynn has a sore throat and a small lump on her neck. A specialist informs her of the gravity of the situation.

Samantha & Laura,

Samantha has abdominal pains that make it difficult to function. Laura injures her shoulder in a workplace accident and is told that she is too young for the surgery needed to make her better.

Cathy & Tamara,

Cathy is first diagnosed with the flu, then with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Tamara's bloating and stomach pain do not get better and what she is eventually diagnosed with turns out to be a nightmare.

Terri & Melinda,

Terri is diagnosed with hemorrhoids, which doesn't seem right to her. Melinda experiences an accelerated heartbeat when a chance meeting with a friend puts her on a path to healing.

Krystal & Rebecca,

Krystal's aches and pains are misdiagnosed due to her young age. Rebecca's diagnosis of anxiety and depression sends her down a life-threatening path.

Ted is diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, but his pain spreads, leaving doctors baffled. Tammy is misdiagnosed with Lupus. Her last hope is that a biopsy will reveal her real diagnosis.

Ray is diagnosed with Colitis. Surgery puts him on the brink of death. Stacey experiences major migraines and doctors think she has Tolosa-Hunt Syndrome. The real diagnosis is even more serious.

Kerry, misdiagnosed as bipolar, sees similar behavior in her young son, enabling doctors to correctly diagnose them. Ariel has hurt his shoulder and an old teacher puts him on the path to healing.

Allison & Kevin,

Allison has a mysterious, stinging pain in her foot and is unable to put any pressure on it. Kevin gets severe nose bleeds for no apparent reason. A specialist finally figures out what is wrong.
