Because I Can Go to Akiba for Free,

Onoda Sakamichi had planned to join the anime club in high school but Imaizumi Shunsuke appears before him with a road racer.

To Recruit More Members,

Imaizumi challenges Sakamichi to a bicycle race. Sakamichi is surprised, but hearing Imaizumi's offer to join the anime club if he loses, Sakamichi accepts the challenge.

I Don't Have Any Friends,

Sakamichi and Imaizumi's rare gate slope bicycle race has finally begun. Sakamichi pedals as hard as he can so Imaizumi will join the anime club but, is quickly passed by Imaizumi.

Shoukichi Naruko,

Sakamichi goes to Akiba on his mommy bike to buy anime goods, he encounters Naruko Shoukichi, a boy with a Kansai accent riding a bike.

The Sohoku High School Bicycle Racing Team,

The day after riding his bike around Akiba with Naruko, Sakamichi encounters Naruko again at his high school's store.

Welcoming Race,

The first years' welcoming race begins. Sakamichi is excited to race with Imaizumi and Naruko again.

I Want to Catch Up!,

Sakamichi acquires the road racer from the van Miki is riding. Despite it being his first time riding a road racer, Sakamichi rides smoothly and surprises everyone.

Sprint Climb!!,

Sakamichi finally catches up to Imaizumi and Naruko. Sakamichi's surprising growth and earnest feelings ignite their own fighting spirits!

Full Power VS Full Power,

Encouraged by Naruko, determined to become the King of the Mountain in Minegayama, Sakamichi raises his cadence as high as possible to catch Imaizumi.

With the welcoming race over and Sakamichi's potential as a climber discovered, he is told to train with Makishima.

Human Bullet Train!!,

It is the day after training with Makishima. Sakamichi, Imaizumi, and Naruko thought they had the day off, but the third years were actually participating in a race!

First Day of Camp!,

The Sohoku High bicycle racing club holds a training camp to prepare for the Inter-high. On their way to the campground, Sakamichi encounters cyclist Manami Sangaku.

Imaizumi and Naruko's 1000km,

The training camp has finally begun. In order to complete Kinjou's grueling 1000km in four days menu, Imaizumi and Naruko start the morning with great intensity.

Reunion at Dawn,

The third day of camp. While riding alone early in the morning, Sakamichi is reunited with Manami, the boy he met on the first day of camp. Sakamichi makes a proposal to Manami.

After his meeting with Manami, Sakamichi's desire to participate in the Inter-high heightens. In order to participate, Sakamichi realizes he must first ride 1,000 kilometers at camp.

Second years, Teshima and Aoyagi, stand between the first years and their goal to finish 1,000 kilometers. In order to protect their lead, the second years challenge the first years.

Onoda in Last Place,

Sakamichi breaks through Teshima's impregnable guard on the climb. With no tricks left, Teshima becomes discouraged, but moved by Aoyagi's strong will to go to the Inter-high together, he begins chasing the first years again.

All Out Battle,

After falling to last place, Sakamichi catches up to Imaizumi, Naruko, Teshima, and Aoyagi. Amidst their emotions, the five boys clash in an all-out sprint to the finish line!

Having completed the difficult training camp, Sakamichi has grown, but with so much less experience and strength than the other members, he gives up on participating in the Inter-high/

Sangaku Manami,

The Sohoku High bicycle racing club's fighting spirits rise with the upcoming Inter-high.

Snake of the Stone Path,

The day before the Inter-high, Kinjou recalls the events of the previous summer's Inter-high. Kinjou's one-on-one battle with Hakone Academy's ace concludes.

The Inter-High Begins,

Sakamichi and the team arrive at Enoshima, the starting location of the Inter-high. Nervous about his first race, Sakamichi can't hide his anxiety, but he becomes fired up upon hearing the encouragement of his teammates.

Top Sprinter!!,

The first day of the Inter-high begins. Sakamichi begins riding with the goal of finishing with Imaizumi and Naruko. As they enter the flats, every school's sprinter begins moving.

Trembling Izumida,

Every school's top sprinters begin racing at once to take the first checkpoint. Pursuing leaders Tadokoro and Naruko is a man who trained his body to perfection for this day, Hakone Academy's Izumida.

Tadokoro and Naruko catch up to Izumida with their special techniques. Witnessing their unexpected strength, Izumida revokes his judgment of calling them failures.

I Can See the Sky,

The first checkpoint comes down to a three-man battle. Tadokoro and Naruko fearlessly charge towards the finish line! The battle is ultimately decided by their determination to win, and the race enters the mountain stage.

Toudou, The God of the Moutains,

When Sakamichi gets wrapped up in a fall and ends up in last place, Makishima takes over leading the team through the mountain stage. Hakone Academy's Toudou appears.

100 Man Barrier,

Believing Sakamichi will catch up to the team, Makishima decides to wait three minutes. Meanwhile, now in last place, Sakamichi begins riding as hard as he can for team Sohoku riding in the lead.

With Sakamichi caught up to the team, Makishima chases after his rival, Hakone Academy's Toudou. Their showdown has finally begun! Passing the 100th man Midousuji, Sakamichi catches up to the Sohoku team with his surging climb.

Arakita and Imaizumi,

4 kilometers to the finish line. As each school's ace begins riding to win the first day, Sohoku's ace Kinjou and Imaizumi aim for the finish line with the team's hopes on their shoulders. Imaizumi drafts for Kinjou with all his might.

The Strong Three,

Just before the finish line, Midousuji strikes at a moment's opening and astoundingly closes on the aces. In order to protect his ace, Imaizumi chases after him with his legs approaching their limit.

Fukutomi, Kinjou, and Midousuji's three-way battle ends in a tie after the first day of the Inter-High. As the winners of each section's checkpoint are celebrated, Tadokoro falls ill and collapses on the ground.

You are the Princess,

The longest stage of the three-day race begins on the second day of the Inter-High. With his order to climb the pass and catch up to Kinjou and Imaizumi with the whole team in two in his heart, Sakamichi begins riding.

Hayato Shinkai,

Team Sohoku's members are separated. The champions Hakone Academy and Midousuji's Kyoto Fushimi sprint ahead, leaving a panicked Imaizumi and Kinjou behind.

Though Makishima and Naruko meet up with the group, Sohoku remains at a disadvantage. However, knowing Sakamichi and Tadokoro are catching up from behind, they begin pursuing the teams in the lead once again.

Strongest and fastest,

100 meters to the sprint checkpoint. In his battle against Midousuji, Shinkai awakens as Hakone's straight line demon and rides faster than ever. In the face of such overwhelming power, Midousuji removes the tape on his thighs and rides at full power.

With Sakamichi and Tadokoro caught up, team Sohoku finally has all six members. As though pulled along by Sakamichi's efforts, Imaizumi and Naruko begin riding with their hearts as one.

The Soul of Sohoku,

The race seems to be going according to Kyoto Fushimi Midousuji's plan, but Hakone Academy regains its pace through powerful trust. A certain team is catching up to the team-leading schools!

Sakamichi Onoda is a rather timid, first-year student at Sohoku High School. Upon entering high school, he tried to join the anime research club, but after meeting Shunsuke Imaizumi and Shoukichi Naruko he joins the cycling club.
