Joan goes hat shopping and has an argument with a lady. When it ends up she and Brad are having dinner with the lady and her husband, Joan takes up acrobatics in the restaurant in order to avoid embarrassment.

Brad encourages Joan to become an actress. Then, he invites a prospective campaign contributor to dinner only to find that Joan has invited another possible contributor.

To get more exercise, Joan turns to ballet.

After Brad refuses to dismiss Joan's traffic ticket, she gets revenge by charging him for meals.

Joan tries to learn all she can about the criminal world to prepare for her appearance with Brad on a TV panel show.

The judge counsels a couple about to married about the insignificance of a honeymoon by reminiscing about his own disastrous one, where he found himself locked in a burglar-proof closet.

Business Executive,

Brad is frustrated that his business-executive friends can afford to buy their wives such luxuries as fur coats, so he quits his job as judge and goes to work as a corporate executive. Joan knows that he can only be truly happy being a judge.
