With a budget of $20,000, neighbours in mirror-image townhouses will swap keys and makeover each other's homes in just 5 days, guided by interior designers Jane Thomson and Tim Leveson.

This week it's a family affair on Changing Rooms, with young couple Jess and JP agreeing to swap keys with Jess's parents, Narelle and Stephen.

Nick & Stephen have moved back home to live with their Dad. Dad's house –which he built 30 years ago, hasn't changed since their mother passed away.

Brothers Steve and Nick live with their wives and children in Dad's family home; the home Dad built from scratch when he first moved to Australia from Cyprus.

Bronson, Donna and their three daughters have outgrown their family home. But the new one they bought needs a lot of work before they can move in.

First up, the two couples are meeting to discuss how they feel about their respective makeovers.
