An expedition of five men on four watercraft make an ambitious attempt to travel from Seattle Washington, though the Canadian inside passage, the Alaskan inside passage, into the Bering Sea and cross the Bering Strait to Russia.

Dangerous Waters

Episode 1

After spending the night in a Canadian ghost town the team push north and arrive in Alaskan waters. Forced to overnight on a deserted beach the men experience incredible wildlife then retrofit their watercraft in Petersburg Alaska.

Episode 2

Traveling through Southeast Alaska the team experiences glaciers up close while testing all of their new gear on the Stikine River. Expedition Leader Steven Moll suffers a catastrophic breakdown and the team may have to leave their leader behind.

Episode 3

The expedition gets caught in a small craft advisory just below Haines Alaska with members of the team getting thrown into the frigid waters. Patrick’s watercraft is replaced and the men find themselves sinking in the Gulf of Alaska.

Episode 4

Rescued the expedition finds itself on Afognak Island among enormous Brown Bears. The men cross the Shelikoff Straits, notorious for sinking ships and end up on a deserted beach out of fuel. Steven makes an emergency call for help.

Episode 5

A pilot from Kodiak risks the dangerous flight to refuel the expedition and the men are forced to camp among the prime habitat of enormous Brown Bears. Dangers are amplified when the crew finds a ship wreck and the men question Steven’s leadership.

Episode 6

After overcoming enormous odds the expedition enters the Bering Sea. With huge waves, fading light, fog and rain the men and their machines are hoisted onto a crab vessel to spend the night. Wesley calls it quits.

Episode 7

The expedition attempts a 100 mile open water crossing in the Bering Sea. Charles nears hypothermia. Fall approaches and the and the men fear they may never reach the Bering Strait.

Episode 8

Steven uses every resource available to get the expedition to Nome Alaska. Steven develops a high fever and the team goes to work without their leader. The men see Herds of Caribou along the shore and end up camping on the edge of the world.

Episode 9

It’s a quiet morning as the expedition face their final day and attempt to cross the Bering Strait. The men try to get fuel from the small native village of Wales. The seas turn huge and the men face their worst fears.

Episode 10

Pluto

The crew departs Malaysia and head into Brunei. Thunderstorms continue to cause problems. Terrorism becomes a real threat to the expedition.

Storm Troubles

A whole new Dangerous Waters crew meets in Singapore. Preparations for departure take an unexpected turn. Steven recruits the Spikey Lady. Equatorial thunderstorms cause havoc.

A New Crew

The expedition moves off shore shadowed by a new fuel support boat. Mechanical mishaps cause a Jet Ski to sink. Steven’s back is against the wall.

The First 10 Miles

Steven is forced to send a crewmember home. The expedition attempts to cross the South China Sea. Disaster strikes during a huge storm.

Hard Decisions

The expedition shrinks with only two operating watercraft and three men. Steven sends another member of his team home. The coast of Borneo is beautiful and full of danger.

Rolling the Dice

Military warn the expedition of terrorist threats. The crew explores a floating village. Troy looses his passports and medications. Tensions are high.

Humbled

Steven hatches a plan to get Troy into the Philippines. Customs, police, and military warn the team to avoid all marine traffic. Insurgents are active in the entire threat region. The crew head in the wrong direction.

Threat Region

Poor fuel quality begins causing problems. Troy is forced to leave the expedition. Steven enters a small native village looking for fuel.

Engine Trouble

Philippine locals come to the aid of the expedition. The men receive unexpected help at Noa Noa Island. Every last drop of fuel is filtered. The crew finds a remote cemetery.

The Gift

The men explore sunken Japanese Navy vessels from World War 2. Poor fuel is causing havoc with the expeditions Jet Ski. Steven finds a way for the expedition to move on!
