Tonight Gordon presents his two finest local Spanish restaurants. A slick and sophisticated restaurant owned by two entrepreneurial brothers goes head to head with a Notting Hill restaurant serving inventive, contemporary Spanish food.

This first semi-final features Gordon's best Italian restaurant (Casamia from Bristol), Thai restaurant (Nahm Jim from St Andrews), Spanish restaurant (Fino from London), and Chinese (Yu & You from Blackburn) battle for a place in the grand finale.

The second semifinal features Gordon's best British, French, Indian, and North African restaurants.
