Margaret and Jim are excited about Betty starting college. Sadly, in their excitement, they overlook what their daughter actually wants to do.

Man About Town,

Bud tries to date an older woman named Marisa by lying about his age. However, things get sticky when Marissa wants to go to an exclusive restaurant.

Bud's homing pigeon and Betty scare the family by not returning home immediately.

Spaghetti For Margaret,

Jim finds himself in a sticky situation after having loaned money to an old high school teacher who dreams of becoming an acclaimed author.

Betty's Birthday,

Betty decides that she does not want to celebrate her birthday.

Bud, The Millionaire,

Jim gives Bud an allowance in order to teach him about the value of money.

At a PTA fundraiser, the Anderson parents and kids chose to swap styles for the day.

Betty becomes jealous when all the attention at school is directed at the new girl.

Bud hates his job, but feels that he can not quit because he has been bragging about it at home.

The Family Goes To New York,

Betty goes to New York to help out in her friends wedding. While there, she ends up in the gossip column with her friend's new brother-in-law.

Betty Goes Steady,

Betty tries to get in with the upper class kids at school while along the way losing sight of what really matters in life.

The Good Prospect,

Jim and the family meet Mr. Lydum, a smooth talker, who wants to invest in his and his children's ideas. Jim has trouble deciding whether Lydum is fake or the real deal.

The Angel's Sweater,

Everyone is worrying that the visiting Aunt Neva will ruin Christmas.

The Promising Young Man,

Jim's boss asks Jim to teach his son Woody how to be a successful salesman. To Jim's horror, though Woody is a gregarious guy, Woody prefers to be carefree and does not want to be an insurance salesman.

Margaret Hires A Gardener,

Margaret hires a Spanish gardener. When the work is done, Jim goes to pay him, but the gardener has increased his price.

Swiss Family Anderson,

Margaret, Jim, and the rest of the family are shipwrecked on an island.

Bored with being a housewife, Margaret goes shopping and has a portrait made of herself. Jim understands that Margaret it is not just boredom that motivates her to take this break.

The Lawn Party,

Bud plans a lawn party and his parents find out.

While Bud is showing his family how he has learned to use a short wave radio, they overhear a distress call from a boat.

Bud loses the money he was supposed to use to pay the tailor. One of the Carnival booth owners cons him into thinking that he can work for him to earn the money back.

Betty And The Jet Pilot,

Betty is saddened when her new boyfriend, who is a jet pilot, is transferred to Alaska.

Trip To Hillsborough,

Margaret and Jim let Bud go to Hillsborough to do research so long as Kippy is with him. Unfortunately, at the last minute, Kippy does not go. Bud's parents find out and worry about Bud.

An Evening To Remember,

Actor Cornell Wild gets in an accident and asks Jim for legal advice.

Bud Buys A Car,

Bud buys a $10 car to impress his girlfriend. Unfortunately, the car needs a lot of work and does not impress his girlfriend.

Because Bud violates a traffic law, he must do community service as a crossing guard.

Bud becomes a town hero after preventing a bank robbery.

Betty, The Track Star,

Betty finishes first in a track race in addition to becoming the flower queen.

The Spelling Bee,

Kathy is nervous about the school spelling bee, so Betty give her a penny and convinces her that it has special powers.

Bud, The Philanthropist,

Bud decides to donate to the church, but gets angry when Kippy makes it appear that he gave money instead of Bud.

Baby In The House,

Jim and Margaret decide to baby-sit for Betty so that she can go out.

Class Prophecy,

Jim and Margaret find out that an unsuccessful classmate, who they thought would become a doctor, is actually a bad salesman now and unhappy with his job.

The Art Of Romance,

Bud asks Jim how to get Judy's attention while Judy asks Margaret how to get Bud's attention.

Margaret Disowns Her Family,

Margaret helps out a young pregnant woman.

Grandpa Retires,

Margaret's father decides to retire because of help problems. However, when Margaret and Jim figure out what is the real source of his sickness, her father will have to decide if he really wants to stop working.

Shoot For The Moon,

The Andersons regain their confidence with the help of Sageman.
