Only 8 chefs remain and they are all determined to get at least one of their dishes through to the banquet. Today they cook their fish dishes for the Great British Menu judges, who are joined by a fourth member to assist them in their decision.

This week it's the turn of the Scottish chefs; Michael Smith, Tony Singh, and Alan Murchison. Today it's the battle of the starters. So which dish is going to fly the flag for Scotland? Will it be cock-a-leekie terrine, pigeon salad, or Scotch pie?

This week it's the turn of the chefs from the South West - Henry Herbert, John Hooker and Nathan Outlaw. Today they begin their menus with the starters; rabbit with pea mousse, ham hock with pea puree and heather smoked macon with pickled beetroot.

It's the turn of the chefs from London and the South East - Tristan Welch, Tom Kerridge and Anthony Demetre. Today they're out to impress with their starters; breast of lamb with crisp lambs' fry; beer-braised oxtail and ham, egg and chips.
