Ainsley visits London's Restaurant 1837, home to master chef Andrew Turner and his nine-course 'grazing' menu. On the menu are crab spoon canapés; seared scallops with endive and Roquefort; boeuf bourguignon; and soft-center chocolate puddings.

Ainsley turns his attention to the meal that combines breakfast and lunch: brunch with eggy-bread BLT, hot Bloody Mary soup, pesto-rippled scrambled eggs, portabella stuffed mushrooms, and ricotta pancakes with mulled strawberries.

Big Flavours, Rough Edges,

Ainsley explores the Mediterranean flavors: garlic, olive oil, onions and tomatoes, and simple rustic dishes. Chorizo chowder, oven-baked mussels, cherry tomato risotto, and Basque almond and custard tart with raspberries.

The One Without the Fat,

Ainsley cooks shredded chicken and lemon-grass soup; chili-crab linguini, fennel, orange and olive salad; and steamed soy-honey chicken with pak choi, shiitake mushrooms, and bean sprouts. For dessert, he makes a passion fruit soufflé.

Ainsley escapes his London kitchen and sets off for North Lincolnshire in a motor-home, demonstrating that gourmet express food can be made in small spaces with minimal equipment. He is preparing a range of dishes that suit his rural retreat.
